Guests can easily access the FREE dial-a-ride shuttle by downloading the Northstar app. Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation (TART) also provides daily routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee. For those looking to use public transportation, several bus routes depart from Northstar Village. To reach Kings Beach, head to Northstar Village Gate #8 and take the Hwy 267 Truckee Depot to Crystal Bay station route, which is about a 15-minute bus ride. For a visit to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus heading north and arrive in Truckee in approximately 20 minutes.



Several cab companies operate in the area, and Uber and Lyft are available, though availability may be seasonal and limited at times.
