I so badly want to give this condo 5 stars, but there were so many issues!
When we arrived we noticed that it wasn’t as clean as expected (sand still on the floor, floors dirty behind the doors, mold spots at the edges in the showers, appliance fronts streaked), but we decided that we could deal with that. However, as the evening went on we found more and more problems - bath tub was black (I have a 10 month old that has to take a bath in the tub), mold covering the shower curtain, master bed had sand in the sheets, master bed mattress was broken with a huge dip in it, the bunk beds smelled so bad that my 6 year old wouldn’t sleep on the sheets, the walls around the bunk beds were black from dirt, and the couch was caked in sand. (I know some sand is expected at the beach, but this was extreme.). I messaged the owners and they replied right away and sent the housekeeper over. She was helpful in wanting to fix what she could, but some of it couldn’t be fixed. Plus, having to walk someone around and tell them what they did wrong was awkward and not what I wanted to do on vacation. Apparently the bathtub is being replaced next month, but that didn’t help me with bathing my 10 month old at the time. (The owners knew that I was traveling with a baby.)
The pros are that it is an awesome location! It was so nice to be right off the pool so that we could come in and out with the kids. We loved eating at schooners next door. Also, the owners are very nice and willing to work with issues. I just think the condo was misrepresented and needs some updating.
