The unit was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. There were some minor cosmetic things, like chipped, cracked, and discolored floor tiles. There is one safety issue. The bathtubs have raised floor. This means the room floor is about 4-inched lower than the tub floor, making stepping in and out a bit hazardous. Adding grab bars would greatly help this situation. The amenities were the big disappointment, especially when compared to the photos. The spa/hot tub’s underwater intake was covered in so much green algae growth, that I’m surprised water could pass through. I hesitantly dangled my feet in the water for a few minutes, but would never submerge myself into the spa. The pool area is much smaller than the pictures lead me to believe, and was in need of a cleaning. The indoor portion of the pool seemed dark, cramped and had limited furniture. The exercise area, and game room were also dark, dated, and unappealing. The covered parking area was another issue. The lighting at night was extremely minimal. This poor lighting makes it hard to judge changes in elevation, so curbs and ramps were dangerous. Also, the darkness makes seeing signage difficult to see. I received a parking violation, because I couldn’t see the Reserved markings painted on the floor. In review, the condo unit and beach were acceptable. However, the rest of the building and amenities will probably keep me from returning to this listing.
