Escape to Villa Divina, where elegance meets tranquility. This unique jungle hacienda sits on a 120-acre estate, surrounded by nature yet just 5 minutes from San Ignacio, making it an ideal location for both relaxation and adventure.

Enjoy panoramic jungle and mountain views, morning coffee accompanied by howler monkeys, and peaceful evenings immersed in nature.

The 3,500 sq ft hacienda features a professional 12-burner kitchen, perfect for cooking lovers. Prefer to relax? We can arrange a private chef or interactive cooking class.

The interior showcases beautiful heavy wood furniture, a cozy indoor fireplace, and opens to spacious decks ideal for yoga and lounging. The large private pool is accessible from the deck, master bedroom, and master bathroom.
Please note: the pool is 18 years old and may show cosmetic stains only — it is safe and regularly maintained.

The master bathroom includes a Jacuzzi. Air-conditioning is available, though many guests enjoy the evening breeze through open windows.

This was an amazing property and it far exceeded our expectations!!! The team - Maria, Hadas, and David were excellent! We booked tours through them and they also helped us book taxis to town. Their customer service was amazing! Definitely do the in-home cooking class with Dora - she's amazing too! We would recommend this place to everyone and would definitely stay here again!

David was always just a WhatsApp message away with any questions and was very prompt in replying or actually coming to the house.A great please to cook meals for the family and have some quality time together. Loved the sunsets and star gazing from the balcony.

If you’re in the area, this is a gem. The pictures don’t do justice for the size and quality of this home. All of the Hosts - online and onsite- are super nice. Highly recommend.

From the initiation of our reservation, we were guided by Hadas and David. They supplied specific directions to the property and a wealthy of information about area attactions. The home, deck, pool and grounds are beyond gorgeous! It was difficult to leave! Our entire stay was seamless, peaceful and very enjoyable. Hadas and David were always available on the VRBO app if we had questions.

Jungle Paradise

Maybe it's a stretch to call it the jungle but for a Southern California boy it's a jungle. Listening to the Howler Monkeys and the birds all day and night was absolute paradise to me. Told my friends, that would be my husband and 4 others that "I've got this". It's going to be great.... that just doesn't even begin to start.... I have this gigantic smile and good feeling overcoming me just writing this review..... amazing..... I want to use the "F" word and every other expletive in front of amazing to describe it. I just walked around looking at everything I could take in, trees, plumeria (frangipani to you Easterners), Orchids, air plants just growing in the trees and hanging to the ground.... a Tropical Enthusiast's dream come true.The house was every bit of every thing we had hoped for... it fit to a tee every description and way it was presented online. David who runs the place is there if you need him and not if you don't. I would say "transparent" to your stay yet there to any degree you need him. I would say that after having stayed in San Pedro and kinda putting our finger on a spot to be centered for the second half of our trip and hoping it would be central to activities, ruins, cave tubing and quiet you could not pick a better place. This is the kind of place you dream your vacation will take place. The accommodations were spectacular and in no way do they need to defend any little thing... I could go on and on but am out of space. This place is FANTASTIC!

This place is wonderful and full of Italian character. David, our host, built the house and is very knowledgeable of the area. If you want a peaceful, private jungle getaway, this is the place for you. It is showing some age in places, but we prefer to stay at properties with character instead of the modern, sterile feel that many rentals have. There is no cheap, generic B&B art in this house. It is authentic and charming. Breakfasts on the deck were relaxing, as were evenings in the pool.

Paradise in Belize

Davina is a unique property just outside of San Ignacio. You're close to town, but feel that you are in the middle of nature, complete with many types of birds, plants and monkeys. The house is very comfortable and the hosts very helpful. This was our second stay and probably won't be our last.
