Dejligt sommerhus lige ved Fundybugten ved en arbejdende fiskerihavn og strand. Trægulve, udestue, to dæk, lounges, 2 soveværelser ovenpå (dronning og dobbelt), lazyboy træk sofaen (dobbelt) i solariet, fuldt udstyret køkken, 3 pc stort badeværelse. Trækul grill (medbring venligst eget kul) udenfor, privat parkering ved siden af ��​sommerhus, græsplæne og rosenbuske. Tv og egen gratis WiFi. Cottage haner dispensere saltvand (sommerhuset er bygget så tæt på havet!), Men vandkøler er forsynet med så meget vand som et behov. Træ til åben pejs forudsat. Til udvendige brandpit skal du bruge stranden drivved.
Den quirky strand sommerhus er nabo til dette sommerhus og kunne lejes i forbindelse og derfor kunne 11 personer indkvarteres som en pakke. Forhør for prisfastsættelse.

Beautiful serene cottage on the shore. Was very cool to watch the tides from right off the deck. Lovely experience and highly recommend.

This is quaint property right on the water. We enjoyed watching the tides and also had the opportunity to see a colorful dusk sky and a colorful dawn sky all within 24 hours.

The cottage with its rustic charm allowed us to unplug and truly relax. You can’t beat the view of the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the tides was a family favorite along with hunting the shore for treasures.

Absolutely perfect place to get away. The warf was busier than we expected but it was still really cool to see the boats go in and out.

This cottage was so much fun and comfortable. It gave a true feel of an authentic and rustic maritime cottage right on a harbour. The view from the upstairs bedrooms out into the Bay of Fundy provided the full experience of the tides. You can watch the tide go out for which seems like miles to just hours later the water being right up to the back deck. The location of this cottage is also very convenient as it is central to many attractions. Whether you want to go to Burntcoat Head to witness the true extremity of the highest tides in the world or travel to Brier Island to go whale watching. The cottage is very clean and there is lots of sitting areas. Whether you want to sit at a table inside the cottage to have dinner or breakfast with your family or have dinner or breakfast in the sunroom if it’s raining or if you wanna relax out on the back deck, there’s plenty of seating out there too. The host was extremely nice and easy to deal with. They always answered quickly and are very polite and informative and just so easy to deal with. This cottage was a dream come true as you also could witness sunrise and sunset from your back deck. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody who wants to experience true Nova Scotia fishing, Harbour views and tides

You left the cottage so clean and respectful which is very much appreciated especially if another rental comes same day. The cottage was my mother’s and she always said time stands still and the world is whole in this house. She never wanted to change anything and I kept it that way for the most part. Lol. Beautiful Property

Very beautiful property and the location is perfect. We had a great time and everything was the way it was presented online. The owner was easy to communicate with. And you aren’t too close to the neighbors so you have some privacy I would 100% recommend this spot

Unique and beautiful

This was a lovely, rustic large home that accommodated our crew well. The location can't be beat. It was very neat to watch and experience the big tides and explore the beach.

Quirky cottage

and everyone had a great sleep. Was not aware of a propane stove so asked ladies at the restaurant for help ( great bunch of people at the convenient store) Found 10 was too early check out especially when you are enjoying your coffee and company. I will recommend this spot to friends and family.

This place was so rustic and the view was absolutely beautiful. I had an absolutely amazing stay here and would book it again in a heartbeat. The host was really easy to chat with and the beach we were on was so peaceful.It is a very rocky beach so proper footwear is a must however, it was so peaceful. Although I didn’t get a chance to stop in as we were there for a wedding, there is a fish market across the water where the boat dock, as it is a little fishing harbor. Boats come in and out often and drop off their load and go back out again in the morning. Lastly, the property was very clean with lots of firewood to burn in the cooler months.We were very comfortable there.Thank you so much! We hope to see you again soon.

Quiet cottage on the breakwater.

Nice older cottage right on the water. Beautiful rocky beach only feet away. The high cliffs and caves were awesome. The salt water in the taps and shower take some getting used too. Bring provisions as the restaurant isn't open. But the cottage is comfortable with good Wi-Fi

Musty and damp smell. Many moths and other insects. Quite dirty, e.g. spider webs, hair, dirt, old contact lenses on bed. Furniture not like pictures and many items in a state of disrepair. In need of TLC. Location is great for water and rocky beach. Harbourville Trading Company nearby is great and little store is very clean and folks are friendly!

We stayed in the blue house. The location was amazing! The hoouse was clean, decorated nicely, and overall very comfortable. Fortunately we didn't have to cook because there is only a hot plate and microwave. The real kitchen must be in the yellow house. This is a little disceptive in the description. The big surprize was the salt water in the taps. All the dishes tasted of salt water. For those who took a shower their skin stung from the salt water. I looked at the Vrbo review of the house and it never indicated that we would only have salt water in the kitchen and the bathroom. This feels a little disceptive and not honest. If it were not for the salt water I would highly recommend this place because it was a beautiful setting and the house was charming.

We had a great time!

The house is right at the waters edge at high tide. There are a wonderful bench and chairs from which to watch the tides. The little harbor is quaint. Watching the fishermen unload a days catch of scallops was remarkable. The neighbors were wonderful. It is ~ a two hour drive to Halifax/Lunenburg/and Digby, and there are lots of other places within a 2 hour radius. Unfortunately Cape Breton is too far to visit in a day. The restaurant in town was not open during our visit, but there is a great lobster and seafood restaurant 30 min away in Halls Harbor. The owner was available and responsive (we had a problem with the tv, and we ran out of fresh water, both problems were remedied immediately) You won't be staying in a Holiday Inn. The house is old and "romantically worn". The floors slope and creak, paint around the trim and windows is chipped (not surprising since its so exposed to the ocean), but everything works, and is clean and comfortable. The most difficult thing was using only salt water to wash and cook with. At the owners suggestion we learned to rinse off after a shower. If there were one thing that I would change it would be to convert to fresh water in the taps.

From my search criteria I understood I was booking a 4 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms property with a cooking range/oven. The directions provided were to a purple house under renovations across the harbour. The staff in the local market were very helpful and assisted us in locating the property as cellular service in area is very poor and we were unable to communicate with the property manager…who turns out to be a different person to the name on the VRBO listing. Also she was not available except by VRBO messaging once we were on wifi. The accommodation we were provided is a 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom induction cook plate quaint house. Accurate on all reviews on VRBO re uniqueness, quaintness etc. however this is not a property for any guests with some mobility issues and beware the staircase is very dangerous so be careful at night if you need to go to the bathroom. Cooking in the kitchen please take care the induction plate, Microwave and coffee pot are barely balancing on a very unstable table. The property manager was very unhelpful and not willing to provide any explanation re the missing bedrooms and bathrooms - case of tough that is all there is take it or leave it. Any other time or if it was just my husband and I travelling together we may have been able to look past all this misrepresentation and enjoyed the uniqueness of the property however for our travel party’s needs this was not what we paid for or needed.

Pretty cottage right on the ocean's edge.

This striking blue cottage is at the edge of the Bay of Fundy. The sunsets on the breakwater are beautiful. The cottage is an older one, some sloping floors but comfy and quaint for a romantic weekend or week. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. What might be something to get used to is having salt water in the taps. A clean water dispenser is provided. The incredible crags and cliffs and caves along the beach are truly spectacular. The cottage is quiet and watching how quickly the tides change from the deck is awesome.
