Lake Hartwell Waterfront Getaway

The night before your arrival we did experience some pretty harsh weather, which likely contributed to the deck not being up to our usual standards. We’ve already addressed this with our cleaner to make sure everything is fully checked prior to future arrivals. We also wanted to apologize for any miscommunication regarding check-in time. We did not realize you were requesting an early check-in, as we would have gladly accommodated an earlier arrival if the home was ready. We’re sorry for the confusion there. I do want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience regarding the air hockey table. We should have communicated that more clearly ahead of time, and we’ve since addressed it to avoid any confusion for future guests. Regarding the grill, we appreciate you bringing that to our attention. Our team has already been notified to ensure it’s thoroughly cleaned and functioning properly moving forward. Thank you as well for mentioning the neighboring dogs, we always want our guests (and their pets!) to feel safe and informed, so we’ll make sure to include clearer guidance about that in our listing. We do charge an additional pet cleaning fee because our cleaners need to spend extra time making sure all pet hair and dander are removed, and that comforters and certain areas are professionally cleaned to keep the space hypoallergenic. This ensures that every guest after you—especially those with sensitivities—can enjoy a comfortable stay. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back in the future!

We heard you about the pillows and we have ordered new pillows for all the beds. Additionally we will start leaving more trash bags for our guests. Thank you for bringing that to our attention! I'm sorry you found the basement cold. We do have extra heaters in the basement to help on the cold days. We will remind out guests as to their location. The toilet was working as far as we knew.
