When we arrived the grass and shrubs we’re overgrown and the outside furniture was not clean but the indoor bedrooms and the living room furniture was very quaint and rustic

Wonderful perfect Vineyard house! We loved being able to walk downtown for meals and coffee and the bookstore! We spent hours on the shady front porch. The house was very clean and the vintage kitchen sink and the outdoor shower were the very best part. Communication with the hosts was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it!

Nice old home with charm, nice side and backyard and off-street parking. House was a great location to Vineyard Haven, ferry and to short-term parking down the street when we left are car to go to Nantucket. House had all the necessary essentials for the kitchen, bathroom and cleaning. Clothes-line in back yard to dry clothes after washing. Even had a desk with extra monitor, printer and wifi. Cozy living room, dining room and kitchen. Only one bathroom on first floor but big and roomy. One small bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. Three of the bedrooms had air conditioners. The steps to the second floor are steep but manageable.

Great location and stay

Perfect location walkable to downtown and beaches. Lovely private outdoor area to hang and plenty of space inside for our family of 4 including 2 kids.

Great stay

The home was as shown in the pictures and spotlessly clean; kudos to the cleaning team. We really enjoyed walking to town, the beach umbrellas and chairs that were provided and the outdoor shower after the beach.

Lovely old family home in easy reach of central Vineyard Haven

We had a perfect stay in this lovely old home - easy for Vineyard Haven, for any number of beaches, straightforward arrangements, a lovely porch to sit out on, plentiful fans and aircon to stay cool. For us it was perfect, Martha's Vineyard at its best.

The property was very nice and comfortable. Felt like a home that you were borrowing from friends not some of the sanitized rentals you can get. Great location very close to the downtown of Vineyard Haven. Rooms were good size and everyone fit without issue. Would absolutely stay again.

Very convenient location, cute cottage

The house was everything that was promised. It was so well stocked, which made our stay very enjoyable. Love sitting out on the porch. It was a short walk into town and the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a lovely old home within walking distance of all that Vineyard Haven has to offer, from a small beach to the ferry terminal, and an easy walking distance to two grocery stores. The house appears well-loved, and it worked well for my family of four; the owner is very responsive if you have a question. Make sure to read the listing very carefully - the stairs are very, very steep (and the listing makes that clear), so I wouldn't stay here if you have any mobility issues. If you need high-end appliances and want a modern home, then this isn't the place for you either, but if you love a beach-cottage feel with a generous and lovely outdoor space plus a rocking-chair porch, consider renting here. The beds were comfortable, and the home was broom clean. It was charming, and we loved being able to walk out the door into town for ice cream and iced coffee. The neighborhood is very pretty with sidewalks that make it easy to explore. Bonus: There is a playground nearby, and if you have a car, it's a great jumping-off point for visiting other areas, like State Road Beach and Oak Bluffs.

Wonderful intown home/cottage

Charming home, great location, wonderful front and back porch, owner and property manager were very accessible, would definitely rent again! We always have a wonderful time on the Vineyard!

Great location close to town!

My husband and I stayed here with our two young daughters. We made excellent use of the deck, grill and backyard space. We also appreciated the nearby playgrounds, short walk to town, and the outdoor shower. We plan to return next summer!

Perfect Martha's Vineyard Cottage!

We loved our stay in this house! It was perfect for our family of 3 teen boys -- clean, cozy, easy & beyond well-equipped for our every need. We especially enjoyed the comfy beds, bike shed & outdoor patio! And the location can't be beat. Easy access to absolutely everything. We're so glad we stayed in this gem of a house!

Delightful stay for a family of 6, including 4 kids ages 7 to 13

The location of the property is ideal - walkable to many excellent shops, stores, and dining options. There are many great spaces to convene, including the porch, a back patio with table and chairs, kitchen table, dining table, and living room. The property owners are very responsive and thoughtful. Checking in and out was a breeze.

Very enjoyable stay

The owner was great and very communicative. The house location was great. We enjoyed our morning walk to the Main Street for coffee and such. The house was what you’d expect on the island…old but cute. Everything was as described and the owners food recommendations were spot on. Only wish there was a bathroom on the second floor but that’s an old house for you! Wonderful stay and vacation!.

Fun with Friends

We enjoyed our stay in this property. It was great to be able to walk to downtown Vineyard Haven and not worry about finding a parking spot. The big dining room table was a plus for us because we brought and played lots of board games. The outdoor shower was a morning treat!

Brian Admaral, the owner of the house, was very helpful anytime I had question he answered it in a timely manner. He was very pleasant to deal with. The house was very quaint and charming. We loved the outdoor shower, backyard, and the front porch. I would stay here a million times over. The only thing I wished the house had was a full length mirror, so I could see how I looked in my outfits once I got dressed for the day.

Location! Location! Location!

Our stay was amazing! This house has plenty of space with 4 bedrooms, great indoor and outdoor space. The location is perfect, we walked into town and had breakfast at the Black Dog. Close to downtown. Would definitely recommend!! The owner and management gave us their contact info in case we needed anything. Very friendly! Thank you Brian and Annette, we had a great week!

Nice older house in great location

Loved the walking distance to town, great back deck and outdoor shower, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. The owner and rental agent were very responsive when we thought we left an item behind. We are not used to no central air but the rooms have AC units and cooled quickly. The beds were very comfortable.
