Eric is a great host, very responsive and helpful. The property is in a central area, easy to access much of what Philly has to offer. One caution for anyone with mobility issues, this is a row house so the stairs are steep and narrow. The roof top deck is lovely.

This location is perfect for visiting Old City historical sites. Independence Hall is 3 blocks away, Ben Franklin home is one block, Betsy Ross home 6 blocks, close to Elfend Alley and more! Many places to eat also within walking distance. Fork Restaurant is fantastic. Menagerie Coffee shop and Mechanics Restaurant Bar directly across the street. The flower shop below is lovely and smells great!This place would be a ten plus with just some minor touches. Do be aware there are many stairs so this won’t work for some. Excellent king bed which makes a place for me.

Nice little place right in the heart of Philly. The host was great and even got us in a little early. Place was very clean and exactly as pictured.

This is a great space and very cozy! This rental has all the conveniences of home and then some. It is close to so many great things to see. Excellent communication from the host as he often answered my questions within minutes. There is a parking lot right next door but we found that the parking garage on 4th street to be less expensive and just as convenient. We would definitely stay here again. The rooftop was added bonus and we would have used it every day if it hadn’t been so hot and humid.

The beds had dirty sheets (grainy). There were no wash clothes. The towels had holes. The refrigerator couldn't keep things cold. And the worst (if it can be worse than dirty sheets) was there was no hot water. Perfect location. But sub par property!

Everything about the property was wonderful. It was a shame that the weather was too cold and damp to enjoy the roof top deck and Florida room. Would be a wonderful place with dryer weather. The unit itself was very comfortable and welcoming. Just the kind of place you would want to retreat to and unwind after a day out enjoying Philly.

Cozy old city stay

Great location. The dining and living room are very large - perfect for entertaining. The house has a nice vintage vibe and was clean. There is a parking lot next door, but street parking was easy enough.

Sweet little place close to all of the historic sites and market street. The accommodations were as listed and we had a nice two night stay. My son was excited to use the tea room featured in the photos- however that part of the rental was more of a storage space with cushions stacked against walls and needs to be cleaned. Also- before renting- know it is in the heart of the town in a beautiful old building. As with any historic building/area- There are mice. They ran along the walls while we watched tv and were hiding in cabinets. The biggest surprise was parking. Garage parking was blocks away and street parking is nonexistent (most street parking 2 hour limits) The lot next door was convenient, but very pricey- we paid an additional 160 in parking from 6pm Wednesday to 10am Friday. Would still stay here again in a heartbeat- it’s a great value and I would just factor in the parking cost before renting.

Great location for walking everywhere!

We visited for a weekend - 3 adults and 3 youth and our dog. Eric is responsive and professional. The location was PERFECT for us as we like to explore by walking. Historic sites, great restaurants and bars all located within blocks. Loved the roof patio and people-watching on 3rd St. Charming parks close by to walk dog. Pros: clean, comfortable, well-maintained property, location close to so much, great host. Cons: noise from late-night bars on the street, parking limitations/cost.

new year’s eve get together

this property was in a perfect location for walking all throughout philly. the flower shop underneath is super cute and the house decor is fun and personable. our host was very communicative and helped us with any questions we had. my only note is make sure you’re closing the red door with a decent amount of force to be sure it’s fully closed before you lock it. we had an amazing time at the old city flower house and definitely would book here again c:

The house was comfortable and very easy to navigate into Old City as intended. The sleeping arrangements are misleading; 3 bedrooms but only 2 of the rooms have actual beds. There is no futon or otherwise, only floor cushions to make a 3rd bedroom which is not connected to the main living space - not ideal for children. Amenities such as wash cloths, shampoo, body wash, etc were sparse to non-existent and kitchen was also missing essentials that I would expect like salt & pepper when spices are listed within the house description. The space was very clean, host was responsive leading up to the stay and check-in was a breeze. However, this home would probably be more appropriate for a group of friends or an older family group, not a young family.
