The Space:

Welcome to our newly renovated 2-bedroom, 1-bath retreat in the vibrant Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans! Located just two blocks from the famous Magazine Street, our home promises a delightful stay in a safe and lively area.



Step into our thoughtfully designed space, where modern charm meets comfort. The living area boasts an open layout, creating a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. Sink into the plush sofas and catch up on your favorite shows on the large flat-screen TV.



Our fully equipped kitchen showcases sleek appliances and ample countertop space, perfect for preparing delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the adjacent dining area, which features a stylish table where you can gather and share memorable moments together.



The two inviting bedrooms are furnished with cozy beds, soft linens, and ample storage for your belongings. You'll find relaxation and privacy in these tranquil spaces, ensuring a restful night's sleep after exploring the wonders of the city.



The newly renovated bathroom is tastefully appointed with modern fixtures and a refreshing shower. Fresh towels and complimentary toiletries are provided for your convenience.

You'll have the entire house to yourselves! Enjoy full access to all areas, including the living room, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and the convenience of a private washer and dryer.

Our house is perfectly situated just two blocks from the vibrant Magazine Street, known for its unique boutique shopping experiences. You're also a short, pleasant walk from the historic streetcar, offering easy access to explore the city. Food lovers will rejoice in the proximity to some of the best restaurants, live music venues, and lively bars, all within easy walking distance, making it a perfect location for families.



Getting Around:

Getting around is a breeze! You'll find plenty to do within walking distance, so a car isn't essential. However, if you're staying for 30 days or more, you might appreciate the convenience. Street parking is usually readily available right in front of the house or on the corner. You're steps away from restaurants, live music, bars, and grocery stores. The streetcar is just a short walk away, and Uber/Lyft are readily available.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that there are security cameras on the property for your safety. There is a Ring security camera in the walkway to the apartment door, a Ring doorbell at the door, and another Ring security camera at the front of the building. This is a duplex, and there are tenants on the other side. We kindly ask that you respect quiet hours during your stay.

This property was just as the photo show it to be. The host (Wallace) was great and very communative. It made my birthday trip to New Orleans very memorable. I will definitely reserve this property again in the near future.Dr. Leonard

The rooms were clean but somewhat spartan in nature. A closet and very small night stand type table to store your clothes. We stayed for an entire week and a dresser with drawers would have been a nice addition. The bathroom was clean and adequate with a shower and small sink. We were provided a total of 4 bath towels, 4 wash clothes and two hand towels. For a full weeks stay additional towels would have been greatly appreciated. We were also provided with ample toilet paper and a liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser was attached to the shower wall.The kitchen worked well for us and we had ample appliances to make breakfast and lunch while we were there. The refrigerator is almost a half refrigerator so if you plan any major grocery shopping it may be a bit tight.The posting lists the property as getting a whole house but you actually have a half house with a family utilizing the other side and the area above you. It is a shotgun camel top house. In the early mornings you could hear the dogs scurrying about and people walking overhead.The pictures of the house show a porch area with chairs. When we arrived there was a picnic table with a number of plants, a bike locked to the railing, a gas can and other various items on the porch. There was no way to easily utilize this area. The backyard was also not usable so you are limited to the inside of the house only. The location is nice as you are about a half mile stroll to the street car.

Seemed newly renovated. Very comfortable, everything we needed. Comfy beds, good assortment of kitchen equipment and table ware. Many, many great coffee shops, bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

This home was so lovely, we will definitely stay here again. It was bright, clean and cozy. I felt like I was in a friends home while they were away. Plenty of room for luggage and other travel "stuff", without feeling crowded. We were not here long enough to cook but the kitchen was well stocked. Even had a water kettle for hot tea. All provided information about the property was correct. Manager is very communicative and responsive. The photos clearly identify the condition and the rooms.Walking distance to several restaurants in the Garden District. Walking distance to the St. Charles Trolley line which takes you to the Fr.Qtr, Audubon Park, etc. and connects with other transportation options. The BEST surprise was a lovely Gelato place one block from this home, and a bakery (Brasserie) 2 blocks away.Pet-friendly, though no backyard. Everyone in the neighborhood was always out walking their dogs, very friendly. We were engaged in long daily and nightly activities, so we decided not to bring the pup this time.

Great spot in a perfect neighborhood

The house was clean and spacious. Hosts even ordered a pack and play for our baby. I can’t say enough about the location. Walking distance to amazing shops and restaurants on Magazine and breweries and a grocery store on Tchop. Hosts were great.

I chose to make my home in Uptown New Orleans because it offers everything I love about the city—historic charm, walkable neighborhoods, and a true sense of community. The oak-lined streets, classic architecture, and proximity to Magazine Street mean you’re never far from great local shops, restaurants, and cafes. I love starting my day with a walk to get coffee or spending afternoons in Audubon Park. It’s a peaceful, residential area that still gives you easy access to everything New Orleans has to offer—without the constant crowds of the French Quarter. Staying here lets you experience the authentic, laid-back side of the city while still being close to the action.
