First, the design and layout of the home are clearly described in our listing, including the bedroom arrangements and bathroom locations. Additionally, when you inquired about the suitability for your grandmother, we provided further clarification, confirming there is a bedroom downstairs, while the bunk beds in the treehouse are stated as well in our VRBO listing that it is only designed for children. Regarding your concerns about the dishwasher and water issue: You checked in on December 23, and, as we do with all guests, we reached out the next morning to ensure everything was going smoothly. You responded that everything was fine and even great. The following day, December 25, you sent a message after 5 PM already to report concerns, and we immediately acknowledged it, informing you that we could not send maintenance on Christmas Day due to the holiday. However, we assured you that the issue would be addressed first thing on December 26, we reached out to you early morning to confirm. Since this was your check-out day, you requested that maintenance address the issue after your departure, and we respected that request. Now, we would like to address your demand for a reimbursement which you asked after your reservation. While we did apologize for the inconvenience caused, we explained that we had already extended a courtesy by waiving the pet fees for bringing more pets than declared in your reservation, which should have been collected as per our policies. Despite this, you threatened to leave a negative review if we did not reimburse you further. We always strive to provide exceptional service and value to our guests, as reflected in the many positive reviews from repeat clients. It’s unfortunate that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we want to assure all future guests that we prioritize clear communication, swift resolution of issues, and fairness in all interactions.
