The home was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend trip! The location was great and I really appreciated the on property parking! If you’re looking for a cute place to stay for the weekend this is a great option!

HOME HAD LOTS OF PROBLEMS, MOST OF IT JUST GENERAL UPKEEP! BIRD NESTS IN ALL WINDOWS. FRONT DOOR HARD TO LOCK. MASTER BEDROOM LIGHT GOES OFF AND ON, ONLY STAYS ON A FEW MINUTES. MASTER BEDROOM FAN DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! LIVING ROOM LIGHT IS ONLY A DECORATIVE BULB TOO DARK TO SEE ANYTHING! BED WAS EXTREMLY HARD AND CAUSED HIP PAIN. BATHROOM DOOR HARD TO CLOSE. DID NOT USE KITCHEN AT ALL EXCEPT TO PUT DRINKS IN FRIGDE. OVERALL DISAPPOINTED IN CONDITION OF HOME AND IT IS MANAGED BY A RENTAL COMPANY SO DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY NO ONE HAS DONE MAINTENANCE ON HOME!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOME!!

We showed up around 5pm on Friday. We heard birds but we didn’t really think anything of it. We left for dinner came back around 8. The birds were still going crazy until 10pm. The next morning They were screaming around 5am right outside the primary bedroom. I opened the curtain and the windows were filled with nest. We contacted the rental agency about 2/3pm on Saturday to cancel and try to get a refund for Sunday night. We had video of the birds going all day and night. We couldn’t sleep or even relax at the house we paid for. It was quieter at the crowded beach than laying in the primary bedroom. We didn’t even hear back from the till Sunday at 4pm. They informed us they didn’t want to rectify the situation. They got the house ready and I know they heard the birds while doing that. We feel we should’ve been at least informed of every window in the house was full of nest with birds screaming 17 hrs a day. On top of all that it sucks the rental company didn’t care enough to even get back to us in a timely manor. It was anything but a relaxing environment for a vacation.

Very cute older house

We stayed for the weekend. I was really concerned because after booking, I received my portal with codes and such, and it stated that A/C is to be set at no lower than 78 degrees. Ok, this is Texas! I called several times and didn't get any answer as to this. Once we arrived, we were able to lower the temp, although it does default a lot to 75 degrees. So we were constantly having to turn it back down.I absolutely loved the shower!! It's super nice with a huge tub and dual shower heads. Very clean. Does have covered parking. However, my car sits lower and couldn't get in the gate without scrapping. Parked on the street, and it was fine.
