Such a beautiful place! Great place to just relax. It had everything I needed for a 6 day stay. I would highly recommend this place. I’ll be back sometime next year and hope your place is available. I loved sitting on the porch listening to the crickets and the tree frogs. NO complaints

When we sent a text to the manager we never got a quick response. At the earliest we heard maybe an hour later.Their email instructions were generic for all the properties they manage, so some were not appropriate. For example the email instructions said to use the hot tub, we were to be sure to follow the instructions that were in the house binder. There was no binder and the response from the manager to our question about that were “just use it, you won’t break it”.The sliding door out to the deck could not be opened at first. There was a blocking bar in the track which we took out but still couldn’t open. The manager’s response to our question was that the owner just said to pull real hard. Not knowing if the door was locked or not it took some fiddling with the lack and a hard pull to open. That is something that needs fixing.Lastly, the instructions said that the county had no trash pick up service and that we had to take our own trash to a recycle center. In all our years of staying at VRBO’s we have NEVER had to dispose of our own trash. We feel the manager or someone they hire to clean the place after guests are gone should be doing that as part of their service.Other than those issues, the place was very clean, comfortable, and was in a good location for some great Blue Ridge Mountain adventures.

The location of the cabin was what drew us to it. I grew up in that area and we visit once a year or so to see friends still living there. We typically look for something with a kitchen so we can cook breakfast and this one had a kitchen and the listing said coffee pot so we brought our coffee but when we arrived there was only a small Kureig and we didn’t have k-cups. There was also a French press but again, we had the wrong coffee. We ended up purchasing a cheap coffee pot from nearby Walmart. We also didn’t realize from the listing the lack of places to sit while in the kitchen. It was raining the entire time we were there so we couldn’t take advantage of the deck off the kitchen which may have better seating but as we couldn’t use it I can’t say. The beds are small, only full size but ok. No complaints on the comfort of the bed but there is no headboard and it was catty corner to the wall with a blanket ladder and some kind of shelf behind it. We moved the shelf just in case but as my husband went to retrieve his pillow one night the blanket ladder fell and hit him on the head. It really is a nice space that they could make less “artsy” and more comfortable. There was so much stuff it was hard to find room for our stuff. All in all we had a nice stay. It’s close to the road but still quiet. I can’t speak to the outside amenities because we couldn’t enjoy due to all the rain.
