Best location. Sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean for morning coffee can’t be beat! Condo was spotless and the kitchen had everything you might need.

Holiday Vacation

Check-in was a breeze and the room was just as listed. Located right on beach and was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to all Waikiki Beach had to offer.

Montana visitors

Chech-in process, cleanliness, location to beach & restaurants was great. My only complaint is that there was a fee for parking (about $35/day) that I was not aware of when booking the unit.

Aloha, Thank you for taking your time to review the Castle Waikiki Shore. We appreciate your comments. Unfortunately our parking is contracted by the individual owner and believe it or not $35 (NOW $40) is one of the lowest in Waikiki. Thank you again for choosing to stay at the Castle Waikiki Shore. We look forward to hosting your you again. Mahalo, Kamakani/gsa

Beautiful location close to everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we experienced on this trip. The view from our balcony was beautiful and relaxing. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We felt safe with all the security features. The sites, shopping, and sightseeing within walking distance was awesome. Loved being able to park in the garage when we didn’t need our rental car. Would definitely stay again!

Waikiki Shore

Condo was beautiful! We could live there. Definitely would rent again. Great view from lanai. Sofa bed was not as comfortable as we expected it to be and ceiling fan in bedroom squealed on high. Toilet ran a lot. We knew one of the elevators was broken but didnt realize how much time we would have to stand and wait(up to 20 minutes)for the other elevator. I have some physical problems so couldn’t take the stairs. Loved the decor and kitchen was great! Had everything we needed.

Great location, not great host

Overall, I give Waikīkī Shores four stars. The condo was clean, the bed was comfortable, the views from the lanai were great, Waikīkī Beach was a short walk away, and access to public transportation was close by. My only complaint is that there were no items like salt and pepper, cooking oil, spices, etc. we had to buy all those things. Most VRBOs I’ve been to leave items like that for the next renters. We weren’t impressed by the owner of the condo we reserved. When we arrived, we were told that the owners must have needed their place because it was no longer available! Unbelievable! We never heard anything from the host - no explanation, no apology. Thankfully, Waikīkī Shores found a different (better view!) condo for us and didn’t charge us for the difference in price. We definitely recommend Waikīkī Shores and will be back.

Lack of Communication Made Stay Hectic

The room itself is nice. I had some questions about our stay and trying to get a hold of anyone before we got there was a nightmare. When we climbed into bed on our first night we noticed that our sheets were stained. There was mascara on the pillow case, red stains on the fitted sheet and a myriad of other stains on the top sheet. We called the front desk and were told they couldn't do anything until the next morning when housekeeping was there. We got our new sheets and these had different stains on them. Upon bringing our concerns to the front desk we were told they were simply soap stains (which made sense because one of them was blue), so we said ok and dealt with it. The towels were stained, we were missing our beach towels, and it just felt like the overall cleanliness of the amenities was horrendous. For what you're paying a night, stained sheets and towels should be tossed and replaced when housekeeping notices. I have a hard time believing that you miss an entire pillow with mascara all over it when you change sheets. So, that felt icky. We experienced a tropical storm while we were there. And while I'm not expecting them to control the weather, I do expect the property to take proper precautions for nature events that occur often. We woke up to alarms at 2am and our kitchen was flooded with standing water due to a lack of proper sealing at the front door. Overall, the room itself is fine, nice view, nice kitchen, but I do think some of the other items need work

SD from SD, CA.

The condo was clean and the location was great. My bad; I guess I didn't realize that the one bedroom meant a "sliding" door to main room although it was clearly stated upon reading over description after the fact. It was very relaxing and I would stay again. Aloha

Condo on Waikiki Beach

The condo was spacious and beautiful. The ocean and amenities are right there. You do not need a car. Which is good because parking is expensive. Except for the parking issues, this was a perfect location and a beautiful and spacious condo. Well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves.

Nice place

Nice place to stay. Close to beach. Loved having washer and dryer in unit. My only complaint was I called management twice before our stay with questions and did not receive a call back. The third time I reached a live person and he was semi-helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

Great location !

The condo was very clean and such a lovely place! We enjoyed it so much and was very convenient for 2 kiddos under 11yrs. Right in front of the beach and downstairs were so many things to choose from including tours, food, rentals and shopping! We have a fabulous time and would highly recommend it.

Great, But

The Condo we stayed in was very nice. The property in which it is located is under some remodeling. It is time. The location is on the beach. While the beach is sandy, the beach under the water is very rocky. If you like to walk in the surf, this is not the place unless you have feet hardened for rock. If this was different and if it had a pool, it would be a perfect location. It is conveniently located to downtown shopping and restaurants.

Great Property

The location is the best, the property manager and his team, Ryan and Rochelle responded to request immediately. The unit it self is clean and organized. It can use a bit of touch up on the walls, other than that nothing to complain about. The management company really go above and beyond to make the guest feel at home and attend to their needs. Always book them, they provide towel services, and any issues with unit or building you have someone on site! Check out their website for great deals!

A parkside dream

This pristine, beautiful apartment was a joy to stay in. Although we weren't aware of it when we booked, there is a sliding folding door that separates the bed area from the sitting area. Our daughter, who slept on the pull out sofa, was very happy about that! They have everything you need for cooking, if you can resist the call of all the wonderful restaurants in the vicinity. Located next to a park, with a few of the ocean from the lanai, it was a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The building is on the beach - truly. You step out the back gate and you are 20 yards from the water. The lower level of the building has a couple of really good places to get take away food, and there is a shop to get beach gear. There is even a nail and hair salon. You won't need a car as you can walk most everywhere you want, and UBER work's really well here. We will visit again!
