Huntsville is a vibrant town known for its natural beauty, local arts scene, and outdoor activities. Explore the nearby Algonquin Provincial Park, take a scenic drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, or enjoy local dining and shopping in downtown Huntsville—all just a short drive from Fairy Lake Beach House. The area offers a delightful mix of adventure and relaxation for a memorable getaway. For winter we are a short distance from Hidden Valley Ski Resort, numerous snowmobile trails and ice skating rinks!

Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including the private dock, outdoor deck, screen room, and four-season room. Kayak, SUP & Paddle Boat are available for guest use, and the sandy beach next door is perfect for young children. Enjoy BBQs on the deck or cozy up around the bonfire pit in the evenings.

Owned by a local interior designer, this five-bedroom property offers stunning lake views, sandy waters, and a beachfront ideal for guests of all ages. The spacious interior and outdoor living areas provide ample space to relax, dine, and enjoy all-day sunshine and breathtaking sunsets. Take advantage of the available kayak, pedal boat & SUPs to explore the calm waters, or unwind on the patio overlooking the lake. In the winter, head out snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding on our hill or skating at nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. The Fairy Lake Beach House promises an unforgettable getaway in one of Huntsville’s most beautiful destinations. Plus with a beautiful hot tub for up to 5 people, you can't go wrong with this relaxing getaway.

NOTE: We want to let you know that this property is in an extremely quiet neighbourhood, and any noise after 10:30 pm (music, loud conversations, or gatherings outside) is strictly prohibited. Our neighbours are very close by and highly sensitive to sound, so it’s important to respect quiet hours.

Because this is a registered rental, repeated noise complaints can lead to our licence being revoked. If you are looking for a place to enjoy late nights outside past 11 pm, this may not be the right property for you.

Unique Features:
- Amazing space in the main level that comfortably seats 8 for games night or conversation.
- Small workspace is located in the living room that can comfortably seat the entire group (photo of it in the King Bedroom is not accurate) !
- Beautiful Beach with a sandy bottom, gradual entry, and safe play area for young children (note water is higher in the season, and we get less beach, and more beach later in the summer)
- Outdoor deck with an 8-person dining table and loungers (in the grass further down) for enjoying meals with a view. Our hot tub is located on the deck as well.
- Screened room in the basement stores all our water toys and summer items in the winter and summer. It gets boarded up in the winter for protection. Please note the screened room is older, not updated and mainly used for storage. We have two doors to the outside, the outdoor one is a little worn down (locks), and the interior one has one of the glass panes with a crack that is just cosmetic.)
- Three-season room with a comfortable egg chair and seating area, providing a cozy space all year round (please note the space is not heated in winter, so bring slippers and get cozy!)
- High chair, toys, and a pack-and-play are available for families traveling with young children.
- Complimentary use of kayak, pedal boat & SUPs.
- Bonfire pit for evening gatherings and marshmallow roasting.
- TV in the basement living space for cozy movie nights or family entertainment with Firestick. (Please note that we have a dehumidifier in this space, and is older style area than the rest of the cottage. We do not have a rug on this space, and the couches, we have covered them. The fireplace like the upstairs one, is not functional.)

Accommodation:

Master Bedroom: A serene retreat with a luxurious king-sized bed, offering stunning views of the water, with a wardrobe. (No work station, that is located in living room)

Second Bedroom: A versatile space with a double-bunk twin bed, perfect for children or friends.

Third Bedroom: A cozy room with two twin beds, ideal for guests seeking comfort and relaxation. Twin beds can be put together if desired. We need to know in advance to do this for you. Our pack and play is in this room.

Fourth Bedroom: A stylish bedroom featuring a double bed, blending comfort and elegance.

Fifth Bedroom: A bright and welcoming space with a double bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep located in the basement level. The window is to the storage/screened area. Please note in the window that area is boarded up and you might have less light coming in in the off season).

Bathrooms:

Bathroom 1: A full bathroom with a shower, located in the laundry room for guest convenience, is located in the Main level. This bathroom has the laundry room as well.

Bathroom 2: A spacious bathroom featuring a bath/shower combination, offering the best of both options for guests located on the second floor.

We include all linens, including bedding & towels (1 per person), and a kitchen perfect for cooking large family meals!

Please note: The fireplace in our property is not functional.

We include starter amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, and certain items for the property for our guests (ask if you want exact amounts). Please note that most reservations it will be enough, but longer than 3 or 4 nights, bigger groups might need to buy extras! We do not include firewood.

Huntsville Transit operates a bus service with three routes covering key areas in town, including the downtown core, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, and some residential neighborhoods.

However, if guests plan to explore areas like Fairy Lake or attractions outside the downtown, having a car is highly recommended. Public transit in Huntsville is primarily geared towards essential travel within town rather than reaching more remote areas or major attractions like Algonquin Park. Taxis and ride-share services like Uber may also be available, but availability could be limited.
