Just 10 minutes from the old mining town of Nederland, 9.5 miles from Eldora Alpine, Back Country and Cross Country Skiing Resort, 14 miles from the 40+ casinos of Black Hawk and Central City, 22 miles from Boulder, 24 miles from the original capital of Colorado- Golden, a 40 mile drive from downtown Denver, it is an easy 1 hour, 50 mile drive from Denver International Airport.

Our two spring-fed, 3.2-acre ponds shimmer against a backdrop of the Rockies, We have almost 1 mile of South Boulder Creek and ½ mile of Beaver Creek running through the property. Upon arriving at Strawberry Hill Resort, you’ll neatly, find the parking area adjacent to highway 72 with the ability to accommodate 10 vehicles, immersed in an Aspen grove and overlooking the ponds and river below. The expansive A-Frame lodge is framed by panoramic mountain and water views. No “peek-a-boo” vistas here—you’ll relish full-on vistas of Colorado’s majestic Rockies and shimmering ponds from nearly every window.

The fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the cookware needed for large family feasts or gourmet meals. Serve up to 20 people seated inside at the spacious 10 person indoor dining table, an additional 5 at the gigantic kitchen peninsula, plus 5 at the convertible coffee table in the great room. Head outside to the main patio with seasonal (May-October) BBQ Grill and picnic seating on the flagstone patio. Plus 2 fire pits! One wood burning and one gas.

2. Full Wedding Package
• Ideal for larger celebrations with more than 25 guests and multiple vendors.
• Must be booked directly with us to accommodate additional attendees and services.
• A property tour (when available) can be arranged for $250 (credited back if you confirm a booking).

Important Booking & Event Policies
• Vacation Rental Agreement: Must be signed within 48 hours of booking to confirm your reservation. VRBO’s standard agreement does not cover the specifics of Strawberry Hill Resort.
• Mature Groups Only: If you are a bachelor or bachelorette group looking for a raucous party, this property is not suitable. We welcome low-key, nature-oriented stays.
• Guest Count: Only registered guests are allowed unless prior arrangements are made. Accurate head counts are required at booking; changes can lead to additional fees.
• Events/Day Guests: Any gathering beyond standard lodging (e.g., weddings, reunions, photoshoots, etc.) requires an event package and associated fees.
