Hunting Cabin with breathtaking views surrounded by The Shawnee National Forest.

I’d like to clarify to everyone that the air conditioner/heater DOES work. It’s a brand new digital mini-split. I always send a message and ask if everything is ok and if anyone needs anything. I’ll gladly show our guests how to work the mini-split. All the walls are closed up so there’s no insulation showing. The ladder has steps (shown in pictures) to allow for shorter people to use the loft. There is a bar with 3 bar stools for eating plus chairs on the deck and around the fire pit. The mini fridge (hotel style) has a little freezer area, however we are getting a larger one soon. The cabin is very private with nothing around but forest and fields. There are several different maps that show the trails and hiking destinations in the small dresser by the couch. (Again, we are always available to answer any questions that you may have. In my welcoming message, I let my guests know that they can contact me at anytime.) Poison ivy comes along with being in any forest area. You’ll want to come prepared for the environment. We’ve had 7 hunters stay in this cabin comfortably but everyone just uses the cabin for sleeping and stays mostly outside. The pullout couch is getting replaced because it’s difficult to open and close. We are very proud of our cabin and keep it as I do my own home. Same bamboo sheets, plush towels etc. If anyone has any questions regarding our cabin, please ask. Thank you kindly.
