We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and peaceful, just what we were were looking for! It was was also a big plus to be able to bring our Pup along! The place was clean and had all the basics in the kitchen too. We enjoyed hiking and seeing the waterfalls and just relaxing!!

Breathtaking stay in a Forrest with one of a kind access to the Dwarfskill made this stay particularly special. Cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and me, and really appreciated the beds, linens and towels. Furniture was OK and the kitchen had everything we needed. Milford is nice and close and well worth a visit. Great place to take a Clean Deep breath, enjoy nature, and get a fantastic night’s sleep with only Nature sounds around!

Cute clean quaint cottage and allowed pets. Loved the screened in back deck. We bagged a lunch and hung out at the waterfalls and tubed in the swimming area for 6 hours. Such clean water and beautiful area. Very relaxing and rejuvenating. Thankyou for opening your cottage to us. Sandra Anthony

Absolutely wonderful cottage in the woods near a creek and small falls. The weather was cool and the heat in the cabin as well as the wood stove kept us warm and cozy! Close to everything in town, delicious restaurants, coffee stops, antiques, boutique shopping and the beauty of the Poconos all around!!

Great stay with pups

Great quiet weekend on the preserve - we saw turkeys, deer and wood chucks. Very good variety of restaurants and walks in/around Milford!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here for our anniversary! The Cottage was clean and well kept. The directions to the Cottage from the host were very thorough and helpful. The welcome binder inside was well thought out and full of great information. The property is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

Picture of inside cabin needs to be updated. Furniture is different. Comfortable beds. No extra blankets but heat and hot water worked well. Bathroom door cannot be fully closed, about a 1/2 inch gap. Pull down shades are old and not fully functional. Overall it’s a great old cabin, extremely peaceful spot and waterfall with deck and chairs is amazing.

This getaway was exactly what we needed to decompress. The quiet was so serene and rejuvenating and the property was beautiful. We loved being able to explore the woods and along the water, especially the swimming hole and the taller waterfall 1/4 mile downstream. We stayed in The Cottage (building on the right in the photo) and every building had its own private areas. We were impressed with the modern comforts (solid wifi, great hot water and water pressure), the history of the property, the welcoming host, and overall, did I mention - It was SO quiet and perfect to destress. We caught a glimpse of a bear in the woods and saw some wild turkeys as we left. Highly recommend and we are already thinking about bringing family and renting more of the buildings.

Peaceful stay

We enjoyed a peaceful long weekend at this beautiful property. We stayed in the cottage, which was rustic, and true to the photos. It's worth noting that there is also a screened-in porch, which is wonderful after sun-down. We ate all our meals at the picnic table so we could drink in the beauty of nature that surrounds this serene property. The creek is an easy walk, very cold (!) and there is a big swimming hole, which was quite refreshing. We appreciated that Sean and Javier met us when we arrived quite late at night to welcome us to the property.

Surrounding property was scenic and beautiful.nothing like it out there .i loved the yard and sun porch as did the dog.people nearby but yard felt very private.cabin clean and we'll stocked but did not look like the photos esp.living room.the living room had a small love seat for seating only and is very compact.there is no tv .I suggest a record player!the issues I mentioned didn't matter to us as we were outside majority of the time and the weather was lovely.we would definitely love to revisit and would stay at same cottage.if have time to waste before check in Milford is a cute little town and lake harmony (nicks lake house)was great.both have dog friendly places.otherwise you won't want to leave once you get there....

Staying here was so nice (although the weather was a bit cold and rained one day but not their fault :) ). We were looking for a quiet, Fall weekend get away from NYC. this place really delivered. Its really quiet, very remote from the Main road (about a five min. drive). There are two other cabins on the property but far enough apart that you won't notice they are there. It was to cold for us to hang out at the Creek/Waterfall but it is a really nice walk down to it and I am sure in the summer it is nice to swim. Also the covered screened in Porch is lovey to sit in. Again to cold for us to hang out there. But would have been great if it was really sunny and/or hot (theres a ceiling fan to help keep the air moving)Also while there is no TV the wifi is strong enough to stream from everywhere, Which is nice, even in the parking area. Since Cell Phone service in the general area (even i parts of Milford) are spotty. So we could get our Destination put in before losing service.The town of Milford is really nice with lots of restaurant and coffe choices. Overall a plesant stay with lots of hiking and eats near by. Or just to relax and enjoy nature. Looking forward to come back some day when the weather will cooperate a bit more.One thing to note, The Couch and Chair in the Pictures have changed. there is no Recliner and the Couch is a different Leather one. Instead of the recliner. there is a Rocking chair to the left of the couch.

Beautiful and secluded

We wanted a place with as little interaction with people as possible. There’s a town not too far if socializing is your thing but for us, it was about campfire, grilling, and exploring. The creek is great view and can follow it in either direction to see it in its natural condition. Just be wary that the terrain as is not optimal for people with movement difficulty or young children. We was always alert for the possibility of a black bear but did not notice any. The clean air, lush green, wind rustles, creek water, and aves animals set a nice atmosphere. Overall we had a great time and the wife didn’t want to go back home.

A cut way, way above the ordinary

My son and I loved being in a 600-acre preserve with a series of wild, utterly remote waterfalls. The cottage we rented was perfect for us--pine walls, ceiling, and floors, a kitchen and bathroom with all the necessaries, the best in comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the works of art on the wall. The "Reliquariarum," for example, is a stunning, thoughtful-provoking, amazing piece, a far cry from the cloying cutsie decorations often found in these remote cabins.

Rugged awesomeness

My friends and I stayed at this Cabin for 5 nights. The surroundings are serene, rugged and beautiful. There is a creek nearby that you can hear from the cabin. The cabin is clean with just what you need for a relaxing stay. There is a huge lawn with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a charcoal grill. We enjoyed a campfire every night. There are a mosquitos and flies so be prepared with a repellent.

Not great

Not child friendly. Swimming seemed a bit dangerous. Fishing was limited due to trees fallen in the water. Path to water is quite strenuous. Environment around cabin was nice, cabin was cozy, but wouldn't rent again.
