Great use of a tiny space. Loved all the outdoor options. Yard version of Yahtzee, disc golf, fun Bigfoot display, lots of yard space to play, hammock, and outdoor seating. Burn ban didn't allow us to use our fire pit, but the house had a fireplace patio that scratched the itch! Hot tub well-maintained. Lots of card games to keep kids entertained. Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us.

We absolutely loved the comfort this place offered for ourselves and two sons. It was nice to escape the city life and sit in the hot top listening to nature. We definitely plan on renting from Pine Acres again.

Would have liked more details about the long gravel road to property and distance and time to get to town. Batteries in remote to tv went dead. Could not find info on how to work tv which had 2 remotes. The battery to smoke detector died the last evening and it was too high to unplug so we had to listen to smoke detector beep all night.The hot tub was hard to get in and out. Very nice property and great place for pets to run.

We keep spare batteries in an emergency supply box under the sink, so the remote issue would have been an easy fix had we been notified. The house was clean and very comfortable. Check in and out instructions were very easy to follow. Doug was great with communication, he even let me know ahead of time that the landscaping company would be on the property on one of the mornings of our stay so we wouldn't be disturbed by the noise. Would recommend!!

It’s big foot’s TINY house, but we made BIG memories. Our kids loved the hot tub, the little bridge and the property. We spent our weekend at the cabin because it was comfy. We enjoyed being outside on the property. Even thought it was super wet from the rain. It made the bridge over water our perfect spot for easter pictures! Our girls loved it & so did we.

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway to the Broken Bow area and we hit the jackpot with this property. It was perfectly sized and had all the amenities. Its also nice and tucked away with nothing but Forest in its backyard. There is also a little creek that runs by the house, maybe 30ft from the front door. They were accommodating with our dogs and had every item you could ask for on site. We will book again to this same property in the future!

We loved our stay at Bigfoot's Hideout. The size was perfect for our family of four. There's plenty to love. The peace and quiet, the hot tub, the stars, the little creek running through and green space across the little bridge. We loved that we could bring our two dogs. We have one who sticks to us like velcro and one that likes to make new friends. We put our Halo collar on the roamer and were able to walk the perimeter, set her boundaries and give her loads of space to explore without bothering anyone. Would definitely stay here again.

We found tiny home as described in the listing. It was cute & had mostly everything we needed. The owner responded promptly when we contacted him about ants in the downstairs bed. He offered us a full refund, but since it was already around 9:00 p.m., we decided to stay and make the best of the situation. He later refunded our cleaning fee, which we appreciated.Unfortunately, we could not sleep in the downstairs bed because of the ants. We moved to the pullout couch, but found dog-food debris and a significant amount of pet hair underneath it. After sweeping the area, we placed the bunk-bed mattresses on top of the uncomfortable pullout mattress so we could get some sleep.The cabin needed more thorough cleaning. We noticed cobwebs, dirt behind the downstairs bed, a dead bug beside the upstairs bed, and a shower liner that needed to be cleaned or replaced.We appreciated the owner’s quick response, his offer of a full refund, and the refund of our cleaning fee. However, the ant problem and overall cleanliness made our stay uncomfortable. The cabin has potential, but the cleaning and pest-control issues should be addressed before future guests arrive.

The property is on a regular pest-control service, and we also inspect and treat the home between stays. Unfortunately, during extended periods without rain, ants can become more active as they search for water, and even with routine preventative treatment, an occasional ant can make its way inside. That said, we understand how frustrating it was to encounter them during your stay. When you contacted us that evening, we immediately offered a full refund so you could make other arrangements, which you understandably decided not to do given the late hour. We also refunded your cleaning fee. Following your departure, we conducted a thorough inspection and did not find any ants or evidence of an active ant issue. We’re disappointed to hear that some areas of the home did not meet our cleaning standards. We have addressed the items mentioned in your review with our cleaning team and will be paying particular attention to those areas going forward. We appreciate you recognizing our quick communication and efforts to make the situation right. We’re continually working to improve the guest experience and appreciate the feedback.

What started 12 years ago with a fishing trip to Beavers Bend State Park has turned into the most enjoyable part of doing life with family and friends. My wife, Dawn and grown kids, Kailey and Austin have enjoyed countless adventures over the years in Southeastern Oklahoma as we escape Dallas/Fort Worth to spend time in our Happy Place.

We love to host couples and families at our properties and always strive to ensure a unique stay with lasting memories. Our favorite activities are hiking, fishing, boating and of course just relaxing in nature.
