We had an amazing stay. The condo was beautiful and well stocked. The host was responsive. Gorgeous view and so close to the beach. Also, we left behind a beloved stuffed animal and a lost and found ticket was created immediately. Borris was found and shipped back to us! Amazing and compassionate service. I can’t recommend this condo and host enough.

Had a great visit. The condo was sufficient and met our needs. One room needs a bigger tv and unit should have a keurig coffee maker.

Beautiful, clean, and perfect location

My wife and I stayed here in early October and had the best time. The condo is spotless and beautiful. It would be the perfect condo for a larger group as well.

Great condo with an AMAZING kitchen

Great condo! We really enjoyed our stay in Beach Colony West 2D. We've been visiting Perdido Key for 11 years. This was our first stay at Beach Colony. The condo was well furnished and very comfortable. Lots of natural light. The kitchen is gorgeous and had everything we needed for meals. The balcony is huge and well furnished. Overall, great trip and highly recommend this place.

Beach colony west

It was wonderful except the lock box containing the keys was very difficult to open and that was stressful to happen upon arrival. Also I wish there had been drying racks for wet clothes on the balcony. But otherwise it was lovely and very very nice.

needs a few updates

Beds are not that comfortable the master bed makes noise when you roll over or get in & out of bed. The furniture has lots of scuffs and outdated, the couch has a cover on a couch that is an old couch its not comfortable. The view was great, great location. Access to the pool and the beach was all good.

The condo was wonderful but HomeAway sucks. You have ruined vrbo.com.....

I have used vrbo.com exclusively for about 15 years and have recommended it to countless others. Now I will try to reach them and let them know of your new agenda. In all those years I have never been charged by vrbo for a booking..... until now.... Please remove me from all of your mailing lists.... but again the condo was great...

Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and that the condo met your expectations — we truly appreciate your kind words about the property. We’re sorry to hear about your frustration with the booking platform. While we don’t control the fees or policies set by third-party sites like VRBO or HomeAway, we understand how changes in the booking experience can be frustrating for long-time users. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future — either directly or through your preferred booking method. Great time! Great place!

The unit is beautiful and clean. We never had to turn on the air and definitely enjoyed the fresh breezes. There were 7 of us that stayed comfortably here (myself & husband, 3 kids, and my parents). The reason I chose this place over others was the size of the balcony (I wanted BIG as I knew we would be out there watching the ocean a lot), 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, and the indoor heated pool (for our littlest) as I knew the outdoor pools are always cold. It was perfect...met all of our wants/needs! Even being 2nd floor we had an absolutely amazing view :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The one thing that I could gripe about (but it really just took time to get used to and was fine) was all of the codes, keys, bracelets we need to remember lol.

Great condo and complex amenities but crowded beach

Beautiful 3 BR 3 BA corner unit condo. Well decorated and fully furnished. Large outdoor balcony. Property has two outdoor pools plus a small indoor pool and hot tub. Only negative is the high density beach as result of number of high rise condos in this area. We usually stay at Ocean Breeze where the smaller condo complexes result in less people on the beach. One reason we choose this condo is the website shows two sets of bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom - actually has one set of bunks but 2nd set is configured as queen bed. Caused some discussion among the kids on who sleeps where. Suggest updating the website.

Thank you for your review and for sharing both the positives and the helpful suggestions! We're so glad you enjoyed the beautifully furnished condo, spacious balcony, and great complex amenities. We understand how beach density and bedding configurations can impact your overall experience, and we truly appreciate you pointing out the discrepancy with the bunk bed setup—this will be addressed and updated on the website to ensure future guests have accurate expectations. We hope to welcome you back for another great stay! Sunny regards, Luxury Coastal Vacations

The property was nice . The unit itself needs updating. The furniture was old and dirty . The can opener was not working and there was not a manual opener to use. The lock on the sliding door was missing upon arrival. We did make a ticket but were told they would have to order parts. The commode in the guest bath was running constantly when we arrived and the maintenance man attempted to fix it when he came to check the patio door lock. The front door lock was very hard to open. The patio door was concerning since workers were working on that side of the building and could have accessed the room from the scaffolding. We felt like it was overpriced for the room with such outdated dirty furnishings. The TV’s did not work properly in the living room or master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms . Security did do the bracelet checks several times a day for the pool and beach and they were friendly.

If you read any review, let it be this one, as it will be the honest truth. My family and I planned to stay at this condo from Monday, June 15th to Friday, June 19th. For this length of stay, we paid over 3100 - a good chunk of money for accommodations we thought would be up to standard based on the “excellent” standing this property has on VRBO. Unfortunately, the stay was far from excellent and I wouldn’t even say it meets average standards. So much so, that we made the collective decision to leave two days early due to how uncomfortable and dingy this property actually is. The room with two queen beds was absolutely horrible. Both beds were sunken in in the middle, making a night of good rest impossible. Without exaggeration, it was like sleeping in a hole, constantly rolling into the other person. In addition to the beds that should have been discarded 10 years ago, the other furniture was totally run down and looked like it had years and years of wear and tear. There wasn’t even enough furniture to comfortably accommodate guests. I get that a rental property will see some dings here and there, but it was obvious this furniture was either taken from a hotel closing down or bought, again, years and years ago without a single proper cleaning. I could go on about the terrible communication but I have ran out of available characters in this feedback. I’ll end with Renter Beware. This unit is for sale and it appears the owners or operators don’t care.

Light on back porch and light on vent a hood are both needing replaced. FYI, ice machine stopped working the day before we left but did not call in due to being the weekend and it did not cause any issues.

It was perfect - we all had our own bathroom/bedroom.

This trip was strictly for my mother - she has cancer and she's in a wheelchair. The balcony was perfect for her to sit out on and look and the water-- even tho it rained everyday.. she was happy and that made us Happy 😊
