Beautiful house! The creek is very nice. Sound of the water flowing was calming. Hot tub was hot and clean The back porch area and the wildlife really made it for me

Some of our family had been to the Broken Bow area before, but used separate houses for large groups. Being able to sleep all 15 of our crew under one roof was really great. The four king bed ensuites gave us lots of room to spread out, while the bunks in the loft were great for teens. The huge island made meal prep and serving easy for our big group; the huge grill let me cook 20 burgers at once. Plenty of space for games inside and out (we even set up corn hole on the back porch on a rainy day). The youngest loved having the playscape for imaginary adventures. The hot tubs were icing on the cake to relax at the end of a day of activities.One thing to note: you'll want an SUV to travel the road ... not sure a fully loaded sedan could have handled the ruts and potholes.Speaking of roads, since you're north of Hochatown you'll want to note that getting to the Broken Bow Lake dam area or Beavers Bend means driving through town on a 2-lane highway that is way overloaded on the weekend. Travel was easy for us during the week, but Saturday was a mess.

Glad Brookside Lodge worked so well for your group — great to hear the four king en suites, loft bunks, large island and grill made meal prep and sleeping arrangements easy. Happy the hot tubs, playscape and indoor/outdoor space kept everyone entertained. Thanks for the heads-up about the access road — we recommend an SUV for the drive in and will update the listing to note the ruts and potholes. Also helpful to mention weekend traffic through Hochatown when heading to the dam or Beavers Bend; it can get much busier on Saturdays. Got there on Sunday. Couldn’t get the screen saver off the tv in the main living room. No remote. Texted the host and they brought us another remote Monday morning. Who knows how long the remote had been missing. Evidently, the previous guests had unplugged the tv like we did. Most likely due to no remote. Wanted to bar-b-que Monday night, but the bar-b-que grill didn’t work. Texted the host. Also, told them the hanging lights around the fire pit didn’t work. Sent out maintenance. He said the grill was broke and would bring out another one. No grill when we returned Tuesday afternoon. Texted host again and was told it would be looked into. Texted again Wednesday and was told the grill was now working. Never did fix the fire pit lights. Texted host Thursday that the railing along back upper deck was very loose and someone could possibly fall. Host was always very congenial & responsive. However, all these things are basic maintenance as far as I’m concerned and should have been working and fixed before we ever got there. I think a thorough check should be made after each guest to make sure amenities are in proper working condition. If a company/person is going to rent their property out for the prices we pay a night we should not have to contact them about advertised amenities not working.

Absolutely loved everything about the place nice and spacious for a family of 20 host was very quick at responding and helped with everything i had questions with my only problems was the roads. don’t wash your vehicle or drive fast to get here due to the roads are terrible but will definitely book here again.

The place is absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. The hot tubs were much enjoyed. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Everything we needed was in a convenient spot. It is a very clean place and well taken care of. The host responded to anything i had questions about and was very nice. Definitely will be booking a trip there again.
