My stay at the Pigeon House was relaxing, comfortable and just what I needed. It was cleaned with a product that left a refreshing scent. Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were very clean.It’s perfect for one person (or 2).I plan to return in 2027 for my third visit.

Pigeon House is a Great Location
Great, walkable location! Cute, clean, updated home. We were able to walk to restaurants and sites we came for. I even recognized a couple of the homes Erin & Ben renovated on the same street. The Host had great recommendations. Highly recommend.

It was wonderfully updated. So cosy, and the backyard was an oasis. We loved the little house and would stay again. There are only 2 things needed, a shade on the front door for privacy, and a non skid mat to use in the shower I almost fell twice.

Hometown stimulus
This is a well appointed property with all the extras. Newly renovated located in the historic district close to downtown. Great for 2 people. Would highly recommend. Very comfortable and inviting.

Perfect Home Away From Home
This place was perfect in every way. The furniture in the living area was very practical and quite comfortable. The bed was a king which is necessary for us and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. It was the perfect home away from home for us. We will be back!

This house was exceptional. For a small(er) house, it feels expansive. The living room and kitchen are large and not cluttered by excessive furniture. The bathroom was similarly large with a long countertop, multi-head shower and washer/dryer behind closet doors. We look forward to returning.

We just totally fell in love with The Pigeon House. It’s on a beautiful, historic, and quiet street. Upon entering the house, it was immaculately clean. It is tastefully decorated! Just a gorgeous house! It had everything you needed if you wanted to cook a meal. It’s stocked with all essentials. Our hosts were just a text away if we needed anything. Thanks for allowing us to stay in this beautiful house.

Perfect location for fans of Hometown
Although not a Ben & Erin remodel, this property is in the heart of the area where a lot of their remodels have been done. This property feels new & old at the same time with lots of shiplap. You will feel like you are staying on set of a Magnolia/HGTV show. Just make sure you walk the neighborhood, dine in downtown, and enjoy Laurel's hospitality.

Staying at The Pigeon House in Laurel was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well-designed and inviting the space felt. The décor strikes a perfect balance between charming and modern, and the house was spotlessly clean — you could tell the owner cares about every detail.We particularly appreciated how functional the layout was. Even though it’s a cozy space, everything felt spacious and comfortable. Cooking in the kitchen was a breeze because it was stocked thoughtfully, and the seating areas were great for unwinding after a day of exploring.The location couldn’t be better if you want to experience Laurel’s historic charm. We enjoyed wandering around the neighborhood and popping into the nearby shops and cafés every day. It’s close enough to town that you can easily walk, but tucked away enough that the evenings were quiet and restful.Communication with the host was excellent. They provided clear instructions - no stress Overall, The Pigeon House is the perfect base for discovering Laurel. Comfortable, convenient, and well cared for — we’d happily book it again on our next visit.

The Pigeon House was GREAT!!!!!
The Pigeon House was a great place for me to relax and let go of the stress of the world. It was the right size for one person - far better than a hotel room! The fully furnished kitchen allowed me to cook or warm up leftovers. I felt at home mainly because I felt safe. All questions I had were answered via text or phone call. The owner takes good care of the property. I will definitely return to "my get away".

If you are visiting Laurel because you are a fan of the Home Town show, there is no better location than the Pigeon House. On the "best street in town" in the historic district, a block from the Lauren Rogers Museum, and a few blocks from main street eateries and restaurants, this is the location to choose. Recently renovated, roomy and modern, and pet friendly to boot, the Pigeon House was one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed in. When you venture out - do take the Bolton Home Town golf cart tour. DJ is full of energy and knowledge. For meals out, we enjoyed Wilson's Commissary, The Loft, and Lee's Coffee & Tea, and Manuscript Coffee - yummy muffins! We did all the Home Town sites including The Scotsman Wood Shop & and mural, the Scent Library, and the Mercantile where we purchased prints by Erin and Adam Trest. We also managed a quick stop into Adam Trest's Studio for wallpaper swatches on the way out of town. Love his work! It was a holiday weekend and some things were closed, but we did make it to Peddler's Junk'tion to wander the antiques and collectables booths. The most engaging stop was the Lauren Rogers Museum which punches way above it's weight for a fine arts museum in a smaller town. Amazing collections donated by the town's founders, a beautiful library and lovely gift shop. Who doesn't love museum gift shops? If you've been considering a trip to Laurel because you love the show, it's worth the trip and the Pigeon House VRBO is the place to stay!

Home was fitted with every thing you can imagine you need. The porch swing will relax you out of your stress into a vacation state of mind. Host was easy to reach and Fantastic location convenient to everything in town. We walked to Lauren Roger's museum. Quiet neighbors and located on a picturesque street that made us want to move to Laurel. Go eat at the Loft & the pizza place right next to it. Food was outstanding at both.
