Artistically designed home with huge ocean views, small dipping pool and hot tub

Thanks for your review. You are correct that, as advertised and noted in the contract, AC is limited to the bedrooms. However, we are quite surprised to hear that it was not up to par in the bedrooms. As always, we are ready to immediately assist if things are not working properly, like the AC. If you stay with us again, please reach out to us any time at any of the staff cell numbers that we provide so that we can immediately address any concerns during your stay. We want our guests to have the best possible experience, and we can easily and quickly remedy most issues.

We only wish you had let us know during your stay so that we could immediately remedy the issues. For the benefit of future renters, I will address them here: The pool does lose some water due to splash-out and evaporation. We refill it when we service at each check-in, and weekly if stays are longer than 7 nights like yours. Before your arrival, you told us that you did not wish to be disturbed in any way, and therefore denied our staff access to service the pool during your stay. We also would have gladly come and repaired the lock; it is now repaired and only required a quick adjustment. The washing machine is crucial to our operation, as we use the laundry onsite to turn over the house between guests. So for us, there is no room for non-functioning machines. I was able to repair it easily today, but future guests should know that if something is not working, we ask that you please let us know as soon as you discover the issue, and we will repair or replace it right away.

Good Afternoon, Thanks for the great review. We are sorry you were not aware of certain things and we try to advertise as accurately as we can. We have video on this listing which we hope shows the house layout better than pictures(it is from before the pool, but the house has not changed). AC in the bedrooms only is the norm, not the exception on St John, and we advertise it as such. We are glad to hear it was working for you (even on generator power when the island lost power during your stay!) We make ourselves available to our guests at all times from booking through departure and would have gladly shared with you how to turn on the waterfall if you had asked. The shell is intentionally there to divert the water rather than spraying you in the face. We do describe the pool as a dipping pool and it is, no laps or diving :) The water is not heated, however, we also have a hot tub. We do agree, please do not book this home if you have limited mobility.
