The house is very spacious, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Host is very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay. Pool was a great relaxation spot.

The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Everything worked as needed, including grill, hot tub and pool. It was also centrally located for us and easy access to Riverwalk, Airport, Golf courses, Pearl District, etc. Beds were comfortable. Nice common areas and a dining room table. Kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the owner/manager (Sarah) was super quick and easy. Answered all questions; no hiccups at all. Would stay again.

We all loved the house! The house had everything a family could need to cook and spend time away from home. If we come back to SA it’ll be our top choice!

The house next door has three large dogs that bark all day and night. Very hard to get a good nights sleep. I would not recommend this house if you need to be able to get a goodnights rest.

The size and layout of the house was good and the house was clean. The kitchen appliances met all our needs. The younger kids really enjoyed the pool. Location was convenient to River Walk and the zoo. The pool table was good for the older kids.

House is historic and has lots of character and well decorated, close to things in San Antonio. House was clean and host was quick to respond to messages. Pool, hot tub and space were nice. Great for a large group to stay. We would have given 5 stars but had issues with the following: main bath shower did not drain so couldn’t be used, mold around grout so wonder if this isn’t new. Other baths had showers but didn’t get hot water and the shower curtains were too short and blew in on you the whole time touching you and were not new. A/C stopped cooling day 2. Toilet in guest bath tipped forward if sat on. These things made it not feel like luxury as titles and the price point too high for these issues. It would be a lovely home to stay if these things didn’t occur.

This vacation home is definitely not the Luxury level we payed for. On Day1-we sat the baby on the red couch in front room and spotted the first cockroach and a huge termite on the seat.Contact was made with host immediately as we found more bugs in the house,we moved all our stuff off the floors.A can of Raid and a bug spray was dropped off by host but we did not want to spray poison all around the house with a toddler-especially on our vacation.All week long we were killing spiders, roaches, and other bugs crawling on furniture and we had to shake our clothes off before putting them on after my husband had a spider crawling on his shoulder after his shower.-None of the showers upstairs got hot enough to take showers.Our family kept having to use the one shower that got hot in the master where the door did not lock and stayed ajar. We booked this with a hot tub and reported it had a film on the surface and smelled terrible.The maintenance man that came to look at the hot tub and assured us “it was fine”-4 days later an actual pool tech came out to inspect the tub and had to bail all the water out of the tub as he said it was not safe to use and was choking him out-it was excessively chlorinated.He verified it would have burned our skin if we tried to sit in it as the maintenance guy had told us. We spent so much time trying to update hosts and they seemed polite enough but I definitely felt dismissed at the end of each day.Not Premier Host label worthy!Unsettling Grossness!

Our maintenance team inspected the concerns that were reported at the time, and many of the conditions described in the review were not found or confirmed during those visits. We understand, however, that your experience and perception of the home may have been different. We genuinely appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention, as guest feedback gives us an opportunity to continue improving. The only problem that exists with this property are the 6 very large dogs that live next door. They can be quite noisy but thankfully not at night nor early mornings. This is not a reason not to book this fabulous home. The location is perfect for visiting many sites in San Antonio and great eating places.
