Vores sommerhus (condo) på Lake Placids Whiteface Club & Resort, ligger på den vestlige bred af Lake Placid, tilbyder medlemmer og gæster 400 panoramaudsigt over spektakulære faciliteter og klubsydelser, herunder en 18 hullers golfbane, 6 ler tennisbaner, havnefront og marina, nordisk centrum, storslåede haver, tre restauranter i gåafstand fra en solnedgangsmiddag på søens Moose Lodge Boathouse, Whiteface Grill på golfbanen; eller den elegante århundredeskift Lake Placid Lodge. Afhent Jack Rabbit Trail, for at tage dig gennem skoven og langs søen.
En fantastisk første sti for unge eller ældre. Vores sommerhus (lejlighed) inkluderer 2 soveværelser, 2 fulde bade, trægulve, vaskemaskine, tørretumbler og privatliv. Det er en enhed med en privat gårdhave, hvor man kan nyde morgensolopgangen over Whiteface Mountain. Vistas og synspunkter bugner. Det er et fremragende sted at hvile, slappe af, forynge. Der er så meget at gøre. Hvis energisk begynder at vandre de 46 toppe, eller bare sidde på stranden i en Adirondak-stol foran det storslåede Whiteface-bjerg og den rolige Lake Placid. Tag en svømmetur, fisk, kajak, motorbåd eller kør over til The Cottage ved Mirror Lake til frokost, og gå en tur rundt om søen eller til centrum, fuld af fantastiske butikker og forretninger. Dette er stedet at tage på ferie. Det har det hele. Talrige fabelagtige restauranter i hele, såvel som oplevelser på stedet, og mere, og mere. Pleasant stay!

This was a fabulous stay at the cabin at Whiteface Inn. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome. The owner communicated in a timely and thorough manner. The area is lovely! Hope to come back in the future.

Great location for hiking McKenzie wilderness

Stayed at the Whiteface Club for a wedding. Condo is close to the main dining room. Loved the endless hiking right out the door.

Gorgeous Get Away

We got in late and it was dark, so when we woke up to the views around us, it was just gorgeous! We slept well in the comfortable beds and had plenty of room to relax inside and out. Everything was immaculately clean. Nice towels in the bathrooms. We had a lovely long weekend as the trees were starting to turn too!

Nice stay

Property was clean, a nice easy walk down to the lake. Not quite a Lakeview, but still pretty. There is plenty of items that you will need for a property like this that they have provided… Very thoughtful. The only real negative to the property is that it’s pretty dated but very comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Perfect Lake Placid getaway

My family rented this condo to enjoy the skiing at Whiteface as well as the town of Lake Placid. This was our second visit to the area but our first time skiing at Whiteface. This condo was in perfect condition, so clean and plenty of space for our family. The kitchen had all the items needed and the beds were super comfortable. The owner provided great detail with directions, ideas on where to eat, things to do, etc. Would highly recommend and looking forward to booking this condo again!

Very comfortable and clean

Loved the condo. Nice fireplace, comfortable furniture, spotless. Close to town and amenities. Able to snow shoe and cross country ski within a 1 min drive. A few nice touches: a few kitchen staples like olive oil, spices and coffee/tea. Tricky door lock but we got the hang of it! Thanks for having us!

Ironman Beware

The unit, location and owner are all great. Owner was very communicative and helpful. The issue is not in the control of the owner. The unit is a lower unit and the upper unit entrance is directly above the bedroom and you hear every foot step of the people above you. Had a horrible sleep every night thanks to guy stomping around in the above unit.

Ironman 2023

The location was perfect and the condo was beautiful and the Owner was so communicative (when needed) and helpful. If my son signs up for next year's race I will definitely try to book this again.

Great girls weekend

We had a wonderful visit. The property was clean, beautiful and welcoming. Very comfortable beds. The gardens were beautiful and the view from the waterfront was picture perfect. The host was very helpful with suggestions for dining and enjoying the area,. The weather and scenery were gorgeous,. We enjoyed hiking the trail at Mount Van Hovenberg and walking on the Heaven Hill Farms trails.

Very clean and nice. Television was difficult to figure out. Directions in binder for TV wrong. Room is a bit dark and could use higher wattage. No handle on microwave missing. No soap provided.

Ironman Lake Placid

I rented Jim’s condo for Ironman Lake Placid. The location was perfect and extremely quiet. It was a short walk to the beautiful Lake Placid beach. Krystal, the manager at the on site restaurant was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

Very peaceful get-away

I loved the convenience of being in Lake Placid but not in the busy downtown area. Being on the outskirts in a quiet neighborhood was lovely. Every morning we could hear a loon call - a personal favorite. It was a short and gorgeous walk down to the beach area. I will be returning!

Prettier than a Picture!

James’ unit at the Whiteface Club and Resort was such an amazing place to stay! The location was absolutely incredible—with club access to so many activities (kayaking, swimming, golf, or just relaxing on the beach) everyone in our group was able to spend time doing all of our favorite activities. It is only about an 8 minute drive to get to the Olympic Complex and the village with so many shops and restaurants. The unit itself had a stunning view looking out to the peaks, with glimpses of Lake Placid’s glistening water through the trees. The porch was so relaxing to sit at and have a cup of coffee in the morning watching the sun rise. The inside of the unit was very clean. James was extremely accommodating for our group (we had an extra person join us at the last minute), provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities, and was so easy to reach with any questions we had (which truly allowed us to relax and not worry or stress about planning anything). Our only complaint was that we didn’t book another day or two!

Superb Stay at Town of North Elba Property

A clean, cozy and comfortable property, it is as advertised and incredibly comfortable for a group of 4 to 6 persons. Check-in was smooth, parking easy and amenities inside the property, excellent. The location of the property is superb; the surrounds serene; and it has easy access to great walks and trails. On top of all these, the property also allows one to relax and enjoy the ambience. We (four of us) enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and when we make our next visit to Lake Placid, this is the property that we are going to attempt to stay. Many thanks to the hosts as well as the property manager who was prompt with communications and details.

Lake Placid

We had a great stay here in February. We skied, skated and enjoyed the restaurants in town. Jim's condo was prefect for us (family of five and our son's friend) and we had a great time. We did have an issue when we stayed, which was caused by the upstairs neighbor. However Jim handled it quickly and in a very professional manner. Great, responsible response on his part.

Beautiful location

The condo is clean and spacious for a family of 4. The fireplace made for a cozy ski weekend. We enjoyed the shops and food along Mirror Lake, skied at Whiteface, and explored the grounds of the resort. It must be something to see in summer! The owner was very helpful and flexible since we had to change our reservation date last minute.

Comfortable cozy spot for ski weekend

Comfortable condo. Had a great ski weekend and Enjoyed the town of lake Placid. A few small things are in need of repair. Front door lock was tricky to operate (I couldn’t get it to work but thankfully my husband could). Host provided helpful info about the area, and places to eat.

Lovely time in Lake Placid and the Adirondacks!

Lovely place, tucked away in the woods, but not too far away. Perfectly situated, away everything but right near everything. Nestled in wonderful fall foliage and resting beside a quiet lake. Dreamy fireplace, plenty of sleeping and living space and a host who made everything easy-peasy for us. I would definitely recommend this property and will likely return sometime next summer!

We are family and close friend owners from NY's Capital Region. We made the purchase after spending several years of renting at The Whiteface Club. Since it can be often available we would like to share it with friends and families who will enjoy it as much as we do.

It goes without saying once you are at Exit 30 life changes, and all your cares melt away. There is nothing like the mountains to rejuvenate and refresh.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Our families enjoy so many aspects of the Lake Placid region. One of the families is on their 11th of the 46 mountain tops, he along with his 11 year old are growing and learning from the magnificent experience. If you can't climb, a ride over to Whiteface will take you to the top of the mountain by elevator, or you can climb a short distance yourself, and get the view from the top.
The teens love the mountains, the boating, the paddle boarding, the fishing, the swimming, the on and on. You could take the commercial boat ride around the lake. Every time we are there we find a new experience. My favorite thing is getting up early, getting my cup of coffee, and going down the road to 'Innerquest Yoga', as a drop in, for a fabulous yoga class.
