The place was clean, cute and comfortable. The location was perfect, near the golf course and Bellaire. The price was very reasonable.

Beautiful accommodations, very clean and cute. The fireplace is a nice added touch. The host was very responsive to all questions. Our disappointment was that the listing said hot tub, pool. The pool was onsite but the hot tub was in the Lakeview Hotel inside, in the basement and had all little kids in the hot tub. Not a reflection on our rental but for the resort area itself, there should definitely be more than one hot tub at such a big resort especially if it is open to all the rental properties in the Shanty/Schuss resort area.

Gorgeous room. Host was very responsive. We were looking for a relaxing getaway with perks we could enjoy as it was not as relaxing as hoped. Some things were out of hosts’ control, but when you pay for a nicer experience it’s hard to look past some of it. When we arrived we noticed lipstick on the top of comforter and towels laid out on top of bed for our use. No one wants to question cleanliness when staying at a rental, makes it hard not to. Secondly when using the toilet once, suddenly the tank wouldn’t fill and the toilet kept running. No staff was quickly available, so we had to stick hand on top of toilet tank (some mold around the top) to get mineral tab out of the way so tank could fill and toilet could be used. The fire alarm went off four times around 9:30 pm our first night due to a glitch. The pool near our room was closed the next day, we were told due to vandalism which is a bummer that people do things like this and out of hosts control. The coffee creamer in room had expired in 10/24 which was discovered by chunks in our coffee. The location was beautiful, but we wished it was a better experience.

While I’m truly glad to hear you found the room beautiful and appreciated the responsiveness, I’m very sorry for the issues you encountered during your visit. Cleanliness is something we take seriously, and I completely understand how discovering lipstick on the comforter and towels laid out in that way would raise concerns. That’s not the impression we ever want to leave, and I’ll be following up directly with our cleaning team to ensure this doesn’t happen again. I'm also really sorry for the toilet malfunction and the inconvenience it caused you. While I wish someone had been available more quickly to assist, I know that having to troubleshoot something like that yourself — especially when you’re trying to unwind — is frustrating. The fire alarm glitch and the unexpected pool closure due to vandalism were unfortunately out of our control, and I truly apologize. Lastly, the expired coffee creamer is something that absolutely should not have happened. Thank you for pointing it out — it’s already being addressed, so no future guest experiences the same. We’re genuinely grateful you chose to stay with us and for taking the time to share both the positives and the challenges. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’re committed to making improvements because of it. I truly hope we’ll have the chance to host you again and offer the peaceful, high-quality experience you were looking for.
