Papa’s place was an amazing stay for our family’s time in Mount Rainer area. The place was warm and cozy, clearly listed instructions for everything. It was so well stocked/thought through for what people might need. A family of deer seem to be familiar with it and it was magical seeing that.Beds and couches were actually comfy, it felt like I was visiting my grandparents place when I was younger. (you’ve been to the places that do the cheapest most basic items, this is NOT it.)Could not recommend this place enough!

Great place!

We all enjoyed our time staying here. The house was clean, layout is spacious and great amenities. Wished we had more time to enjoy it all. Didn’t see much wildlife in the property but lots on the way to it (not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing). Overall recommend staying here.

It sounds like you made the most of your time, even if it wasn’t long enough! The wildlife sightings around the area can definitely be part of the adventure—sometimes they’re right on the property, and other times just along the drive in. Either way, it’s always a reminder of how peaceful and surrounded by nature the area is. Thank you again for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime for a longer stay!
