Great stay in Crescent Beach

The property was clean and nicely set up. They had equipped it with everything you needed for a nice beach stay. We would stay here again!

Perfect Beach Vacation

Barefoot Trace was a true gem and this specific condo was spectacular. Very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Loved the view and quick access to the beach and pool.

Great Beach Location

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay on Butler Beach, St. Augustine! Excellent unit just steps to the community heated pool and beach. We enjoyed the beautiful morning sunrises, walks on the beach and the many great restaurants in the area. Excellent location for a beach vacation!

Fabulous January on Butler Beach

Tom's place is amazing. Large, well laid out with a wonderful ground floor lanai looking out on the ocean. It was a perfect place to enjoy the beach, pool and other amenities. Our stay could not have been better.

Very nice place

Great location, clean, roomy, easy access to uncrowded beach. Loved the garage parking. Owner was very responsive to minor problem we had with door. Definitely will go back there.

PERFECT

We have been gathering the family to Crescent Beach for over thirty years and find Barefoot Trace to be the best accommodations. This condo was just right...clean, extra goodies for the beach, easy access from parking, nice owners.

Second Time…

This was our 2nd time staying here. We had a great time. The condo location to downtime is great. Just steps away from the pool and beach. We’ll be coming back in the future.

Great place! Great stay!

This condo was the perfect location for us. The first floor unit is so convenient. We could just walk from the private patio to the pool and also to the walkway leading to the beach. The owner was the best- check in procedure very smooth, unit well stocked with everything you'd need and detailed information to make our stay great. The entire property and this condo was the best! We definitely will be back!

Wonderful Condo - Perfect for Families!

We had a wonderful experience at 113 Barefoot Trace! The condo was PERFECT for our young family! You could literally walk out the back patio and be steps from the pool and beach. We left our windows open every night and could hear the ocean, and the sunrises were spectacular. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and the perfect size. We highly recommend!

Beautiful Condo - Wonderful Location!

Very roomy condo, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. Appreciated the large master closet. The view from the living room and master bedroom was lovely; condo was steps to the pool and beach walkway. Easy parking and the grounds were extremely well kept. Especially enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the birds singing and watching the resident turtle! Location was close enough to, but far enough away from busy St. Augustine traffic. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a wonderful vacation!

Great stay

This is a great property. We loved the ease of being on the first floor while still enjoying a view of the water. Parking was a breeze. The unit was very clean and with very nice furnishings. Tom was great with communication. The mattress in the master bedroom is very firm. Everyone, of course, has their own preferences on that. We enjoyed a very peaceful week at a beautiful beach.

Family Spring break

We had a wonderful time in St.Augustine. The beach was beautiful and easy to access from the 1st floor. The heated swimming pool was wonderful on the cool days. The condo’s location was perfect. We were able to see a rocket launch on our first night. It did not take us long to travel to the historic part of downtown St Augustine to walk around and get lunch for 1 of the days. We also went to the Alligator farm that was only a short 15 minute drive. The condo was very quiet at all times of the day and the beach was not busy at all which was very nice. The condo had everything we needed including plenty of space for the 4 of us. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Beach Days, Restless Nights

This is a great unit in regards to location to the beach and wonderful local restaurants. I hate having to give a less than stellar review but unless you sleep like the dead, you're not going to get the rest you crave while on vacation. The master bed has a thin (maybe 7 inches) foam mattress that is compressed from use. It might have been acceptable when brand new but that is no longer the case. There is also no box spring; the mattress sits on flimsy egg crate foam, which in turn is on thin plywood sheets. It makes for a truly miserable night. Every time you move, the thin plywood scrapes against the bed frame. Tom came over and we removed one section of plywood, which did help some but being awakened 5 and 6 times a night by the bed noise does not make for a relaxing vacation. With a new, real, mattress and box springs, I would give this unit 5 stars but as it is, I just can't and that's a shame 😟

This is a platform bed that does not use a box spring. It has a 2 year old memory form mattress that cost $1200. She contacted me about the bed making noise. I went to the condo, layer on the bed, moved around, and did not hear any noise. She thought the noise was due to the wood support rubbing, at which time I removed some per her request. The people before her gave a 5 star review with no complaints. Not sure what else I could have done. Update: We did buy a new mattress in the Fall of 2020.

My family has stayed at this property 3 times over the past few years. The location is great, it’s clean, and the description is accurate. When we come back to St. Augustine, we will plan on staying here again.

Great Location and Quiet Area

Swimming Pool was great. Being on ground level and able to walk out was a major plus. Beach was not crowded and it was clean. Neighbors that rent there were all nice. The area it is located is far enough from the tourist traps. You will have to drive into St Augustine for the sightseeing stuff. I recommend Safe Harbor seafood right down the street. Local caught shrimp are the B's Knees. Will rebook without question.

Family trip

We really enjoyed our stay in Tom’s property. It was better than described. The beds were comfortable. The unit was well stocked and very clean. All of the neighbors were wonderful. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Great Condo

This condo is in a great location and was perfect for our family. Just steps away from the pool and a short walk to the beach. Tom and his wife made sure we had all the info we needed and were always available for questions. We will definitely try to come back to this condo in the future.

Beautiful Ocean View

This is a very spacious and quiet condo. The views of the ocean are beautiful. The beach is expansive and clean. Pool was never crowded and plenty of chairs were available. The parking area is very well lit.
