We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, with incredible views and gorgeous boho décor that made it feel warm and inviting. We loved the open-concept layout—it was perfect for cooking while still being part of the conversation with everyone. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the Ohlson Pool and beach access.The host was so personable, welcoming, and incredibly quick to respond to all of my questions, which made everything so easy.And how could I forget the hot tub? It was absolutely incredible and the perfect way to relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings & the night sky! We highly recommend this home and would love to stay here again!

The property was welcoming and perfect for pets as well. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the views!! The hot tub was a great addition as well. The kitchen was stocked with the bare necessities and the property owner supplied coffee, which was very nice.

We stayed here for two weeks and had an amazing time. The location was incredible, and the space was perfect for our family. We loved the big collection of board games and the cozy wood-burning stove. We walked to Ohlson pool every day, and would walk to the Marine Preserve to see the harbor seals basking on the rocks.Matthew was extremely responsive and a perfect host.

Relaxing getaway

Our family enjoyed spending a few days together in this charming house. Enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen with all new appliances. Beds were very comfortable and the ocean view can be seen from many windows. Experienced excellent communication with the host which made our stay feel special. Easy to find and close to our favorite shops in Gualala. Would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at this Sea Ranch home! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and nearby amenities, making it easy to enjoy everything Sea Ranch has to offer. The house itself is comfortable, well-kept, and designed to take full advantage of the views. We loved sitting outside in the evenings, watching the sun set over the ocean—it was truly spectacular.The setting strikes a great balance between privacy and convenience, with quiet surroundings and quick access to trails and the coastline. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided, and it was clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Sea Ranch getaway with unforgettable ocean and sunset views.

This is me and my Mum’s second stay at this beautiful house. When she comes to visit we always plan to visit Sea Ranch and want to stay at this house every time!We go out in the day and then get excited to return to the house and just relax. It has good energy (may be down to the warm interior design and the beautiful views of the ocean). I’m not generally good at slowing down but I can here. The couch area is so nice for watching a movie and using the fireplace- so cozy. The bedrooms are also so peaceful- sleeping in sea ranch is pretty dreamy. The large bedroom feels very wide and open with tall ceilings and a large bed. The kitchen works well with everything you would need- whether you’re someone who loves cooking or someone who doesn’t (me!). I took my dogs this time and they loved their visit! When you walk out of the house there are so many walks you can do, we walked down to the marine preserve area and watched the seals and took beautiful photos. Sea Ranch and Gualala (its closest little town) has more going on than meets the eye(restaurants, spa, hair and nails, art gallery, cute little shops, kayak rental and more).And lastly, the host really does care about your stay and wants it to be a great experience. Very communicative and welcoming. Cannot recommend a visit to this house more

Magical House

Stayed here for a magical week with my Mum, and honestly; we’re a bit homesick for this house now! We have already promised each other that the next time she visits we have to return to this lovely property. You know when a house just has a good feeling? That’s this place!The owners were super helpful and available when we needed them, but we really didn’t need any help- the house has everything you need (the kitchen especially is well stocked with pots/pans etc). The bedrooms are gorgeous- we both slept really well there in the comfy beds. I stayed in the second bedroom and was delighted to see that above my bed was a skylight where I could watch the stars at night!Clearly whoever owns the house has impeccable taste (even down to the plush waffle towels which I loved!)but the house also feels very cozy at the same time. We went out exploring every day but then we loved staying in in the evenings and watching movies by the fireplace. I really can’t think of a single thing I would have changed- Sea Ranch is so special and this house just made it even better for us.

Great views, relaxing home. Very good communication with the host. We appreciated the complimentary waffle mix and maple syrup, and loved the selection of games!

Matt is an excellent host. Communication, prompt, and efficient. House was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. The kids really loved access to the pool and also the beach was pretty much our private beach for the whole five days. Hot tub was clean and a working order. Beautiful walking trails. Lots wildlife. Highly recommend.
