We had an amazing stay. Donna met us at the dock and helped bring our luggage for a party of 7 to the house. The house is beautiful and perfect for our large party. I’ve never stayed at the beach where I truly had a massive ocean pool to enjoy directly in front of the house! The house is also the best stocked house I’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing vacation! I can’t recommend this house enough! Howard was so kind and helpful. Definitely book a charter with Shaw Underwood of Bullseye Bonefishing while you’re there! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Howard!!

We had a fantastic stay. The house is recently remodeled and very spacious and nice with all of the amenities. The beach and view are amazing and Spanish Wells is the best laid-back town. Howard, our host, and Donna, the property manager were great and helpful and easy to work with. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful house

Stayed 10 days with group of family and friends. House had everything we needed and location was fabulous. Communication was great and everything as expected. Highly recommend Howard House for your stay in Spanish Wells.

Best beach ever!

HBH has everything you’d want or need for a home away rental…inside and out! Completely updated inside with every kitchen gadget/appliance you’d want plus a well stocked pantry! Swimming pool out front is spectacular!! Vince and Donna were wonderful! Highly recommend!!

Howard for the win

We had an awesome stay in Howard’s beach house. Fully furnished with anything you could imagine needing. Beds were comfortable, etc. Vince was close by for questions, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Home and View

Howard's Beach House is an amazing place to stay. Not only was the house immaculate, but the view is just breathtaking. My family and I enjoyed spending time in the water as well as on the back patio playing cards. So much fun family time as well as relaxation! We will definitely be back!

Quiet time

Pristine felt secluded, good value for the dollar. Extremely clean. The island felt just as I had hoped. Not crowded and quiet! Extremely friendly everywhere.

Great stay in Spanish Wells

Beautiful house and property! Had everything we needed and plenty of space for our whole family. Lots of games and toys for the kids, bikes were nice to have available. There is a sea wall behind the house so you have to walk to the actual flat beach area that is in the photos, which isn't far. Howard and Donna were very helpful and nice and we look forward to coming to stay again!

Amazing Location!!

Perfect place for a girls getaway! The location was incredible and the water was PERFECT. We loved walking the sandbar and just relaxing in the POOL. :) We had a golf cart which was perfect to get around the island. We tried all the restaurants too! The house was clean, big and beautiful! We all had our own bedroom/ bathroom and slept great! Thanks again for a wonderful getaway!

Peak Relaxation

Nestled in paradise, this beach house is a gem. From the moment you step onto the deck, the panoramic ocean views will leave you breathless in all the right ways. You can dine outside to the soothing waves crashing over the shore, a nearly endless sandbar to explore by kayak or foot, depending on the tide.The house is well maintained, with modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout, particularly for the kids. If you want a great host, unforgettable experience, and peak relaxation, look no further.

Perfection

You step off a ferry, meet Donna and then you pull into heaven. Property is as advertised with extras. Communication is on point and the house has plenty enough space for our larger group. We had seven guests in our party. The pool outback is gigantic, big enough for all seven of us to fit in at the same time; one even sailed around while the rest of us swam!! The location is beautiful and our vacay was perfection.

Wonderful home!

2nd time vacationing in Spanish wells. Howard’s Beach House was perfect. We were a family of 7. 2 adults and 5 teenagers. The 4 bedrooms offered plenty of sleeping room. And we loved the single floor layout. The house could not have been any closer to the water. Fully stocked kitchen with all sorts of little things that were useful for the stay. Seasonings, matches, etc. We made sure to leave it better stocked than we found it. We would gladly stay at Howard’s on a return visit to Spanish Wells.

Incredible Stay at Howard Beach House

From the initial booking, to checking in and eventually checking out, the experience with Howard was top notch. Very friendly, accommodating and responsive. Vince, the property manager, was also a true class act. Incredible hospitality through and through. Now, the property itself, it’s like nothing we’ve experienced. The house was/is immaculate. The views, unbeatable. We’re convinced we’ll never see warm turquoise water like we did at Howard Beach House. 10/10!

perfect house in a magical location

Howard Beach House is probably the top vacation rental we have ever rented in many years of travel. You can tell by Howard's list of what to bring, suggestions on what to do and what is provided that he loves his house and his community and he is the consummate host. The house is well stocked with everything you could need but not at all cluttered. The kitchen has top quality pans, knives and other needed utensils. The layout is perfect with every room having plenty of privacy. Vince, the property manager and a native to Spanish Wells, was extremely helpful...we will be back, it was such a perfect week!

Canadian Thanksgiving Family Trip

The Howard Beach House was a gem! We are so happy that we found it. We were a party of 7, but 8 could have been housed very comfortably. The house is big enough for gatherings while at the same time offering quiet, private spaces. It has all of the modern appliances, utilities and beach "toys" one could need and want. The layout of the house is very thoughtfully planned, with beautiful and spacious bathrooms. It is on a breath-taking beach. Howard's Beach House certainly impressed the Canadian visitors in this party, five of them. It gave them a wonderful experience for their first visit to a Family Island in The Bahamas. They cannot wait to return.

Can't say enough about this place!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The Howard house was absolutely amazing. Well appointed yet very comfortable. We enjoyed everything about it. However, I must point out the most spectacular thing about the house is the location. When Howard says the house is literally on the beach, he's not kidding. The soft sand, crystal clear water and sandbar are heavenly. The Islanders are fantastic - so friendly and welcoming. We felt safe no matter where we were on the island. Vince was a tremendous help - we are forever grateful for a very wonderful Bahama's experience. Thanks Howard for sharing a little slice of paradise. We will return God willing!!

Heavenly Respite

The house is beautiful and tastefully furnished. It’s very thoughtfully stocked—no small detail has been overlooked. From kitchen things to kayaks and floaties coolers umbrellas snorkeling gear etc… the ceilings are high and every room is spacious and gorgeous. The views are breathtaking. You can watch to sunset and the sunrise from this spot. I absolutely loved the outside shower with its view of the sea grape trees and palms overhead! I had a couple of questions on arrival; Howard and Donna instantly responded to my messages. Both were super helpful and accommodating. This was one of the best home rental experiences ever! Thank you 🙏❤️

70th Birthday Trip Made Perfect

When we showed my mom pictures of the Howard Beach House and suggested we celebrate her 70th birthday there, we could never have predicted how perfect of a trip it would turn out to be. Howard made the whole process so easy and stress free. Howard was quick to respond to any questions and issues (although there were really none). The house was clean, beautiful and spacious enough for 9 people. However, we rarely spent any time inside because the beach. The water. Pictures didn’t do it justice. We spent every morning low tide walking the sandbar and finding conch shells and starfish. It might be one of my favorite places on earth. When we wanted to venture out, the house was in a perfect location for whatever we needed. Groceries, wine, restaurants, gifts and gas! We can’t thank you enough for making The Howard Beach House our gorgeous home away from home for the week. We most definitely hope to come back very soon as Spanish Wells now holds a piece of all of our hearts.

Absolute dream!

My family and I stayed at the Howard Beach House for the Christmas holiday this year. This was our first visit to Spanish Wells. To say we had a wonderful time would be a huge understatement. The property was amazing! The house is comfortable, clean and designed so thoughtfully. We made a lot of our meals at the house and had everything we needed. The access to the beach was great - we spent majority of our trip on the sandbar, in the water or walking along the beach. You do need to take a short ladder to get from the property to the actually beach, but my entire family, including my 75 year old grandmother, had no trouble at all. My dad spoke with Howard prior to our trip and he was so kind and helpful! During our stay, Donna greeted us at the dock and escorted us to the house, where she then showed us all around. Vince (property manager) was extremely friendly and helpful when we had a minor issue with water, but he came right away and was able to fix it quickly. He also checked on us a couple other times throughout the trip and stopped by at checkout to help us with our luggage. I could go on and on, but we truly felt at-home and had the most amazing experience! I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Spanish Wells or surrounding areas! I hope to be back soon!
