Your visit coincided with a major upgrade to Hacienda de Horacio. During the installation of new mini-split air conditioning units, one breaker tripped, causing a partial power outage for about thirty minutes. We apologized immediately and provided a complimentary bottle of local wine, which you accepted. The remainder of your review is difficult to reconcile with your actions during your stay. Although you now describe the electrical issue as serious and unsafe, you chose to remain at the property. We even offered to work with VRBO to help you relocate, but you declined. We are also confused by the complaint about the toilet paper. During your stay, you specifically told us you understood the request not to flush paper because of the area's municipal sewer system, something common in many historic communities. Hacienda de Horacio has modern plumbing, but we ask guests to follow this simple guideline out of respect for the town's infrastructure. Throughout your stay, we responded promptly to every request, including bringing you different coffee makers to ensure your comfort. We are disappointed that a brief power interruption during a significant property improvement outweighed those efforts. We respectfully ask future guests to consider the full experience before posting a review that can significantly affect a small business.
