The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for our stay. However, there are a few things I wish we had known before booking, as none of the reviews we read mentioned them.First, there is essentially no cell service at the cabin. If you're staying here, be sure to take screenshots of the check-in instructions, Wi-Fi network name, and password before you arrive. Otherwise, you'll have to drive back toward Idaho Springs to get enough service to access the VRBO app. It would also be very helpful if the Wi-Fi information was included in the cabin's welcome book instead of only in the app.The Wi-Fi worked when we checked in but stopped working the following morning, which made things even more challenging without cell service. If anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs, keep the layout in mind. There is one bedroom in the basement and another on the second floor, while the only bathroom is on the main level. We also found the upstairs mattress to be extremely firm and not comfortable for us, although we know mattress comfort is a matter of personal preference. The cabin provides a coffee maker and coffee pods, which was appreciated. It would be a nice added touch to include a few packets of sugar and creamer for guests.Overall, the cabin was clean and in a beautiful location, but because of the lack of cell service, the Wi-Fi issues, the layout, and the very firm upstairs bed, we wouldn't choose to stay here again. I hope this review helps.
