So much room! Our entire family fit with everyone enjoying the space and the locale. We enjoyed the pool, the walk to town and the outdoor dining area…and the great shower post beach swim. The host was very communicative.

We really enjoyed the house and pool/yard. Everything went smoothly and the location was great! Beach is less than 3/4 of a mile away. Many restaurants just a short ride away.

Pool was great. We got it heated in April too. Very spacious and foosball was fun too. Beds very comfortable. Would stay again.

This property worked great for our one week family getaway for us the kids, grandkids and a small dog. We were also able to host a couple “pool party BBQ for nearby extended family. The house configuration is a little quirky, but comfortable, and the room accommodations worked well for a family setting. It has easy walking to both Carlsbad Village and Tamarack/Warm Water Jetty Beaches. Driveway parking accommodations for two cars in driveway and ample street parking met all our needs. The Heavy duty washer/dryer got a good workout with the generous supply of beach towels.

Great location! Safe neighborhood and close to the beach. Pool was amazing! Lots of room in the house to spread out for the eight of us. Only complaint was that the bathrooms were oddly connected. A full bath shared a door with a half bath and the door didn’t lock. The bathroom in the master didn’t lock either. And the fourth bedroom was open to the living room. So just a bit of a challenge with privacy for everyone, but we figured it out. Host was wonderfully responsive. And no tasks to be done upon check out which was amazing for a change. A great experience!

This location served as an ideal retreat for relaxation and quality time. The rooms were pleasant and inviting, each possessing its own distinct character. We and our fur baby particularly enjoyed the patio and pool area. The kitchen was well-stocked with ample cutlery, suitable for hosting a large family gathering. Additionally, there was an excellent selection of books for reading and a variety of board games. The primary appeal of this spot is its close proximity to a superb array of restaurants, a supercharger station, and the beach—all situated approximately 10-15 minutes away. Carlsbad beach, a mere 10-minute walk, is a pristine haven for surfers. The city's ongoing upgrades to the beach seawall and cliff walk make it an especially pleasant place to visit around sunset.

The hosts were great. They were easy to get a hold of and checked in via text on regular basis. Loved the amenities this house had to offer. There was more than enough bathroom space for my family of 8 adults. The Bbq and fire pit were in great working condition with extra propane tanks available. The pool was the best feature. It was clean and warm when the weather was cool. There was more than enough patio seating and plenty of room in the house. The fuse ball table was a hit. The location was great, it was a 15 minute walk to the beach or downtown Carlsbad. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Family Spring Break

We had a family gathering there for spring break with my husband, teenage daughter and 83 year-old dad staying at the house. We had other family local that hung out with us on the patio with all the cousins using the pool. One of our family members has a walker and was able to walk along the side of the house to get to the patio (no stairs). The house has a few steps between kitchen and family room. I ran down to / along the beach every morning (0.66 mile to the beach). It was wonderful! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would rent this place again.
