What a charming house and location! Amazing opportunity to relax and spend time as a family! Sandy thought of everything! From the charming house to the amazing patio, we enjoyed it all! What a great place to escape for a long weekend!

This property is incredible! Beautiful updates and as sound as a new build. The hot tub is in great working condition as well as the fire pit. The Master bed is extremely comfortable and my wife is now making me install a standalone tub because she enjoyed this one so much (gee, thanks, Sandy! ) You can't beat the price and the scenery for such an awesome house!

I have never stayed in a more beautiful, comfortable home. It was luxurious with an unbelievable kitchen, thick, fluffy towels and divine beds that wrapped you in crisp linens.The fire pit and hot tub sent this place over the top!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Garfield Inn! The home is beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Everything was well appointed and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could have needed.The patio and outdoor space were a real highlight—such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the setting, especially the hot tub. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches from the host, including the coffee station, towels ready for the hot tub, and toiletries available if needed. Those details made the stay feel especially welcoming and well cared for.It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend the Garfield Inn!

This was an amazing place to stay!! I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone! This was the most stocked up place I've ever stayed at and Sandy was very quick to get in touch with! The only thing is I wish we would have known lawn mowing day in advance just because we set up lawn games right before getting told to move all of our stuff. Amazing place and an amazing host!

Everything was perfect and fully ready for us! The king bed was so comfortable! The house is stunning and so beautiful. We had 8 people and had plenty of room! The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after being on the lake all day! We diffently can't wait to come back!

This is really a spectacular home. The quality of the restoration, design and decor are outstanding! It is the perfect location to get away and unwind. I'm going to miss my coffee with the cows in the morning!Thanks for being such a great host, Sandy!

Let me just start by saying, wow! The property is absolutely amazing. My friends and I stayed the weekend there and we couldn't have been happy or more impressed. The place is very clean and you can also tell the owners spent a lot of care and attention in the decoration of it. The gourmet kitchen provided everything that we needed to make our meals and the Blackstone was a nice treat. We loved the visits from Blu the barn cat. The beds were probably the most comfortable that we've slept on at any property we've been to. And my OCD friend was in heaven with how organized everything is. The view is really beautiful and was perfect for those early morning coffees sitting on the resort style deck. The host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely make this place our first choice the next time we need a getaway.

Gorgeous!!!

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. What a beautiful place to unwind! The home is straight out of the pages of architectural digest…. Thoughtfully appointed and stunning design choices throughout. The land surrounding the property is beautiful. Stacy was wonderful too!!. couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay!

This property is amazing! It was spotless and I mean SPOTLESS! Kudos to the cleaners. Sandy was a wonderful host and responded so quickly to any questions we had. The house has been beautifully restored. The furnishings and decor are so beautiful and at the same time so comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfortable and all three bathrooms were beautiful, especially the tile work. It was great to have separate spaces in the living room, parlor, front porch, and patio so everyone could have some private space if they needed it. The kitchen is the star. We loved everything about it. The coffee bar was a hit. We cooked all meals at the house except for one lunch. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. The patio was like a resort. We ate all our meals out there and had daily smores at the fire table and used the hot tub every night. The view of the rolling hills and cows grazing is special. There's a less traveled road just a few yards south of the house that we took walks on with our dog. We took a day trip over to Marietta which is about a 45 minute drive from the house. It's a great city to visit if you haven't been there. Everyone loved our time at the farmhouse. It's a perfect place to slow down and spend quality time with family and friends. I know you'll love it!

Just Wow!

I’ve stayed at many places but this house is by far the nicest, it should be in a magazine! If you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay this is the place! Every aspect of the trip was wonderful (we even got the history of the farm from the owners mother who was very nice!). They thought of everything from the flavoring for your coffee to luxurious bedding. The outdoor area included an electrical fire pit, hot tub and table for 8. We had all our meals outdoors. We’re already planning our next trip to this beautiful home.

Great spot with everything you need!

This is a great property for a little getaway. We were here from Mississippi and another family from Florida so we could visit more family in Marietta. This place is gorgeous. It had everything we needed. We cooked several meals here and utilized the convection oven and the Blackstone. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots and utensils. The coffee bar was a necessity and we greatly appreciated it! Will probably stay here again when we come back up! Also enjoyed the white farm cat that said hello to us everyday, he was so sweet.

I feel like reviews suffer from grade-inflation - but this was a legit 10 out of 10! The interior was decorated beautifully, and the fixtures were top of the line. The ceilings were 10 feet throughout. The exterior had the old farmhouse charm, and the interior knocked out socks off. The kitchen was well supplied as were the linens. The coffee/tea station accommodated any desires - espresso machine, milk frother, drip coffee, pour overs, etc. Plenty of pods, sweeteners, tea bags and creamers. There was a great kitchen table where we played games throughout our stay. Beautifully tiled showers were nice as well as a claw-footed bathtub. A small thing, but a pet peeve of mine, yes, there were kleenex throughout. The outside space was beautiful. The hot tub was right outside the back door and shielded from the weather and the sun. The outdoor griddle was enjoyed during our stay. There was a beautiful gas fireplace outside that we did not use since it was 90 during our stay. It definitely got us talking that we’d like to come back in cooler weather so we could take advantage of that.Thanks for sharing this lovely place!

All I can do is echo the past reviews of this magnificent property. My husband and I were joined by my father and his girlfriend to celebrate his 70th birthday and this was the perfect place! They did not spare anything when updating- from the tile work to the classy designing, it is elegant and beautiful! By far the best house we have ever rented on VRBO. The host thought of everything- birthday candles, extra toothbrushes, fully loaded coffee bar, grill utensils, etc. My favorite thing was watching the sunrise over the barn from the master shower! The scenery was so amazing! There are other people that walk around the property but they did not bother us at all. We also took our dogs to Senaca Lake Park, which is only a couple of miles away. We definitely plan on coming back!

Weekend Stay

I couldn't be happier with our stay at the Garfield Inn. It was perfect for our group of five. The location was incredibly peaceful and private. Not only was the house absolutely stunning and clean, but it was also incredibly well-stocked with toiletries, paper and plastic products, coffee, tea, and much more. Which was greatly appreciated and a pleasant surprise compared to other rentals we have stayed at. The backyard with the firepit, Blackstone, and hot tub was perfect for relaxing and hanging out. It was also enjoyable to watch the neighboring barn animals. We even had the pleasure of meeting a white barn cat who was very friendly and appreciated the attention and treats.Sandy, the host, was an excellent communicator. She responded quickly when I reached out before check-in and checked in with us afterward to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. If you’re looking for a place in Sarahsville, this is it. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful home! We had a wonderful long weekend complete with everything we needed, including those things you just don’t think about until you’re there! Plenty of room and very well maintained. We’ve stayed at several other VRBOs and this was by far the best!! Communication with the host was great. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great get away with our daughter, son in-law and grandkids! I’ve stayed at dozens of VRBOs over the years and this one was the best by far. Sandy thought of everything! The decorating was like out of a design show yet very comfortable. The setting was so relaxing as well. The only negative would be the road noise one of our nights.

Sandy was a fantastic host with great communication from start to finish. Check-in and out were seamless and instructions were clear and extensive. The property is beyond beautiful, spotless and extremely well appointed. Sandy has a wonderful talent for decorating which made the stay even more enjoyable. The views of the surrounding fields, including cows and horses, were spectacular- tranquil and lovely! We cooked on the grill (grill instructions were easy to follow, plenty of grilling utensils and spices), then ate in Senecaville, Cambridge, and Caldwell which were all easy 15-20 minute drives. It was an excellent stay- we plan to visit again!
