Great Studio Condo!

We loved staying in this studio condo in Lahaina Shores. The condo was perfect for our four-night stay offering just the right kind of amenities for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the two decks, one with a great view of the West Maui mountains and the other providing shade in the mid-day heat with a lovely view over palm trees. We'd be happy to stay in this condo again!

Just a terrific spot for us.

We had a great stay. We have been to Lahaina Shores before and love it. It's a short walk to shopping and eating. This room was great for us. Now if you want the room to be completely dark at night and you go to bed early and want it to be absolutely quiet, this is not the room for you. The neighboring business puts on a luau every night. Tip you can take beach chairs and watch the Luau from the beach for free. We highly recommend this room. Thank-you to the owners we had a great stay.

Location is excellent needs some minor upgrades

This condo has two porches so extra light and sound coming in ..they’ve no made attempt to add upgraded dark window treatments to help w/ rest … carpet needs to be upgraded very old had s carpet tack sticking up and newer towels would be nice and king bed we would rebook if they made these changes also we weren’t in the system so they couldn’t find us registered it took some time even with my reservation number I had two reservations they found my other one but not this one ..havr no clue where the ball dropped but again coming to Maui several times a year love to book here again those few changes would encourage me to book thjs room again

Fun in paradise

Easy to rent, excellent price. We liked the mountain view and being a corner room we also had a side lanai.

Affordable place and great location

The unit is a bit outdated but it was fine as we spent most of our time outdoors it was almost easier to walk everywhere as we were so close and enjoyed the two balconies. Unfortunately didnt have enough time to enjoy the pool as we were there for a wedding.

Wonderful location and great room layout

Our stay in this large studio with full kitchen and bath was specious and had a wonderful home feel even though it’s in a hotel. Great end unit gave an extra balcony and additional floor to ceiling huge window/slide door. Location just a few blocks from the busy bustle of downtown but walkable to anything needed (restaurants,bar, continence stores). Perfect escape but so close to all! Great check out process and wonderful communication via phone with Candie (Hosts Assitant ‘host’ who is in the area). Loved the full kitchen as we typically prefer making breakfast and or having a mid day snack or lunch of our own on longer travels opposed to having to eat out the whole trip time. *Only note that has nothing to do with the hosts. The hotel front desk do not have an official place to temporarily hold luggage - they allow leaving in lobby by their desk-but can’t guarantee it’s security. Our flight got in early and we did not need a rental car so this was a bit frustrating-but worked out for a few hours. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!

Pictures look great but misleading

Unit is smaller than other units. Unit has all original fixtures which are worn and dated in fact white duct tape is on bathtub to hide rust. Fan and TV control did not work properly. Noise level high due to location of street, drive and bar with poor quality windows.

Cozy studio in great location

We loved this little place. Definitely adequate and at a great location. A nice place to stay for beach lovers. No dishwasher though

Nice stay

Room was in a good location with great sunsets on the beach. I didn’t realize it was part of a hotel but that was fine, just wasn’t expected. We saw a seal swim by on the beach at sunset. Walking distance to most everything. Nice to have a kitchen for cooking meals.

Great Location

Great location for our stay in Maui , within walking distance of Lahaina's shops and restaurants, unit had everything we needed, older unit but was clean , very comfortable bed, nice balcony’s to enjoy an afternoon cocktail, great pool area for a late afternoon refresh after the beach

Welcome to your disappointing retro VRBO!

We were booked for 7 days. But on day 2 we checked out early and booked another place to stay. Maui at Eldorado by the Outrigger. No that’s a place to go! Why’d we least end early you ask? There was duck tape taped to the microwave, which it’s faceplate there the numbers are is so old that it’s yellow. Did I mention it still had popcorn ceiling?! Even the carpet was splitting from the tile exposing the carpet nails. And stains on the chairsIt was like walking into your grandma’s house who doesn’t maintain it well or update anything. And we were even more disappointed knowing the other units around us were updated. There was only a note, to keep the birds off the patio rail. But there was no notes for anything. Although it might have been clean, it just did not feel clean. And the picture posted when this property was up for rent, doesn’t do it justice and will disappoint you even more once you see the view. Which backs the east side of the mountain so there was no real sunrise. There’s a bar within ear shot of the room, and We found out that that bar is where all of the tweakers hang out asking to either bum a light or bum a cigarette. As we were walking back to the room the 2nd day, a Karen was standing along the fence near the school, who decided she was the mask Police and asked where our masks were (being both vaccinated and testing negative before we got here isn’t good enough for her apparently) We’ve stayed at airBnB and have never that an experience like this. With all this said, likely we’ll be staying at Kaanapali again, but not at Lahaina Shores

Great location, great mountain view

Located just a short walk from town and right on the beach with a pool and spa available to use. And the sunrises over the top of the mountain through the clouds are just amazing! Would stay again!

Lovely location

The little apartment was as advertised and very comfortable. The best part was having two lanai - one with a mountain view and one on the side in amongst greenery and ocean glimpses. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen adequate. It was a comfortable walk to town and the front lawn area and beach were just great to access. Although clean it sure could use some updates, especially the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and communication was easy with Sheryl and Greg. We would stay again!

Love Lahaina Shores!

Though this unit is outdated, it’s a great deal. You simply can’t beat Lahaina Shores, it is on an amazing beach and walking distance to the harbor, awesome restaurant and bars, and surf board/paddle board rentals if you want. The bed was super comfy, no outside noises and slept great. We really spent minimal time in the unit. If we weren’t out doing something, we were at the beach or pool. The units A/C worked good, and all was in working order. Mahalo!!!!
