🎣 Fishing is allowed from the banks only (no boats or wading permitted). You’ll need a North Carolina fishing license and a $4/day permit, which you can easily purchase at the Lake Julian Park Office.



🛶 For motor boats, they only allow electric motor boats, gas powered boats are not allowed. Kayaks and paddle board are allowed.



Park Rules:



No swimming in Lake Julian

No weapons and no alcohol

*Lake & Nature Setting: Being right on the lake means you're surrounded by nature — which also means some outdoor bugs (spiders, wasps, etc.) are common, especially in summer and fall evenings. We have the property professionally treated monthly for pests, but a lakefront/nature setting will always have some insect activity outdoors. Bug spray is provided for your comfort — embrace the lake life!

*Basement Temperature: As a brick home, our lower level (basement) naturally stays cooler than the main floor — especially noticeable in summer months. We've provided space heaters in each downstairs bedroom/living space so you can adjust the temperature to your comfort level.
