Overall, the house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was in a good location and served our needs well during our stay.However, I was very uncomfortable with the check-in process. This was my third vacation home stay in the past year in Dhaka, and I have stayed in vacation rentals in different countries. This was the first time I was asked to provide a photocopy of my passport before checking in. In all my previous experiences, we simply used our booking confirmation or access code to enter the property. Sharing a copy of my passport with someone I did not know felt unnecessary and raised privacy concerns. It would have been helpful if this requirement had been clearly communicated before booking.There were also a few minor issues with the property. One of the bathroom toilet seats was smaller than the toilet bowl and did not fit properly. The window grills were very dusty, so we chose not to open the curtains. Shampoo was also not provided.Despite these issues, the house itself was pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. If the privacy concerns during check-in and a few maintenance details were addressed, I would have rated the experience much higher.
