Lounge where Marilyn Monroe lounged!!! - on the gold scrolled couch in the living room.!!!It belonged to the famous movie star. The kitchen is a stage set! Something out of the ancient past. Atlantis! ( with its mirrored - ceiling and Romanesque beams). Observe 'the window-bed', Also called 'a magic sleigh' A GREAT PLACE FOR YOU AND YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER TO CUDDLE UP IN!!! This 'sleigh', window-bed, will carry you on a ride through the sky so you can count stars, watch the sun come up and go down! Listen to the rain. See it tap the window!
THE ARTIST'S SUITE is located in the lower level of a 150- year old house. Ghosts? Let's hope so!! Extraordinary people have lived and visited here.
THE ARTIST'S SUITE is plunk in the middle of an enchanted forest, yet, just minutes from town. Its grounds are retreat-like. Forest is your 'backyard' and your closest neighbors are the gentle wildlife that browse in the green fields behind the house. All day long there is birdsong and chanting waters from nearby streams.

I travel and am gone. My 'Mom', Sharial Good-Swan, is the perfect host. Sharial loves people and people love her! She was voted "Prom Queen" and "Most Popular Girl" in high school" She still wears the crown! When Guests arrive, Sharial graciously greets them, then quickly disappears so they can rest and settle in. When Guests need something, she magically reappears to get them what they need. When they like, Guests are invited for drinks and refreshments!

Corte Madera is smack in the middle of Marin County - a bunch of unique little towns strung together in a line and each unique in its own way. Every couple of miles, as towns change, so does the weather! Corte Madera has the best weather - not too hot and not too cold. Air conditioning is never needed! Marin County has been the tree-zy abode of many rock stars and artists who love to hide in the bushes! It boasts the Rainbow Tunnel re-named The Robin Williams Tunnel. E-Z commute to The Wine Country and San Francisco!

The other day the friendly garbage man knocked on the front door to tell Sharial that there was no house like hers in all Marin. And he should know because he goes door to door!!! Very unique!!
