This historic duplex has lots of character with the upgrades you want! Newly furnished in 2024 and super close to I-295/I-95, you can be in downtown Richmond to view the sites in about 15 minutes. This downstairs unit is a part of a duplex and comfortably sleeps 4 in the two spacious queen bedrooms and has a newly renovated bathroom. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with a wooded backyard and small creek! Enjoy being close to everything in a serene location with a 5-star experience from a Premier Host.

Alex was the best host ever! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Great communication, the house was perfect, comfortable, it smelled good, and was spacious. In a great neighborhood close to many restaurants and other activities.

This was the Best stay with the Best Host! Everything exceeded my expectations. Alex was amazing! She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She accommodated all of our needs. It snowed pretty bad, and even with all the bad weather, she still had the walkway cleared! This home had everything you could think of on down to a super cool trivia game. Everything was clean, cozy, and smelled amazing. Bonus: If you look out the back door, you’ll see the cutest kitties outside :) I would highly recommend. We will definitely be booking again :)

We stayed here for 3 nights over a long weekend. Our child was attending a sports tournament at the Henrico sports center (which is a 6 min drive away). The house was exactly like the pictures, it smelled good, and it was very clean. There was plenty of room for a family of 4. With the fenced in backyard we were able to bring our dog with us. We had to keep our dog on a leash the whole time which was inconvenient, but we didn't mind too much. The home was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to every one of our needs and She was determined to make sure that we had a great stay. We just wished there was an on site washer and dryer.

By far the most misleading rental. Since this discussion, the host has corrected or updated the listing to reflect properly. This is a home being consider as a duplex; However, it's a single family home with the owner living above. There's not unit A or un it B or 2 separate addressing thus making the confusion and misrepresented. I brought the noises from above keeping us up all hours of the night, but that wasn't addressed, 2nd night again no sleep. Be aware the owner has access into your "side" by just the turn of the handle although the key sided is on your side, there's no key. The owner is up all night and does leave the door unlocked and open as well plus on arrival, the basement was unlocked with entry inside your "side." This rental is lived in and does show by the amazing debris and clutter laying around the back yard while being posted as one the amenities as a family, pet friendly stay and usage. I was shocked to see such and it was hidden from the pictures. I spoke to the host who was quick to respond but the lack of sleep she was aware was not addressed, she asked in reviews please let them know before posting so they have the opportunity to resolve. I let the host know this will be my 1st negative review, she offered a one night refund to not make the review, I felt this warranted a full or as least more then 1 night refund, she declined stating since the inside of the home and only that was as described, she could not do.

WORK and FUN Stay

We had a project to do in the area and this property was close and priced favorably. Place was clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again. I left two shirts in the closet and they were mailed to me without delay. Very nice host.Only minor discomfort was the thermostat setting. It was set on 72 and I could not figure how to adjust it. Most likely operator error but it would have been nice to adjust the temp at night. Great place to stay and we plan to book this place again on our next trip.

Great location, nice interior, outside needs work

Place was very convenient, well decorated and appointed. We did notice the front stoop needs repair, it has come loose from the house and sunk about 6 inches below for a mighty step up and appears to be cracked and wobbly down the center with a mat over it… there was also a bucket of dirty dishes on the back deck, assuming the owners upstairs? Fenced yard did not appear reliable so we kept our dog on a leash, also a great deal of junk (owners?) against back of house and across creek, though the grass was well maintained otherwise. Hope that helps!

Cute, comfortable, needs a little TLC

We stayed 4 nights. The living area was comfortable and bright. The kitchen was functional and beds/linens were good. The shared bathroom had a DIY barn door - it was cute but with gaps on the sides there was little privacy. Bathroom fan did not seem to work. Front steps into house need to be fixed - it was a big step up into the house. As the house summary states, there is someone living upstairs that you would hear on occasion -walking or coming down stairs to separate entrance but not a big deal. We did not use the shared deck as weather was not great Overall the house was cute, comfortable and the manager was a great communicator.

Nice house

Nice house, very responsive host. House is very cozy and comfortable. Yard needs mowing and cleaning, back porch area needed to be cleaned up. Backyard was nice bonus.
