Enjoy the relaxing ambiance of our large but cozy private home on beautiful Lake Champlain. The home was originally constructed in 1840 by the family for whom our bay is named. To respect its history, the hand-hewn plank floors were preserved, giving it a lovely, warm feeling. Relax at the lakeside fire pit and patio while listening to gentle waves against the shore. Listen to loons call out on summer nights. Play in the water that’s perfect for playing with children. Grab a kayak and set off from the dock to enjoy the peace and beauty of being on the water. Come see the striking foliage of autumn or the gentle burst of springtime in the North Country.

For those who need to fit a few work hours into vacation time, the 2 largest bedrooms offer a dedicated desk setup.

We purchased the home in 2021 and completed the renovations this spring. Be the among the first to stay in this fresh and relaxing property!

The water depth at the end of the dock is about 4' and gradually deepens from there, so it's perfectly safe for swimming.

If you wish to use the dock for a boat, be advised that there are a few submerged rocks to avoid about 20' to 30' out from the dock. You must supply your own fenders for protection from contact with the dock. Feel free to park your boat and trailer on the front lawn, thereby saving the driveway for passenger vehicles. Boats can be launched at nearby Pointe au Rouche state park.
