The host was great, and accommodating. The house was beautiful and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the games that were everywhere, There were many choice places to sit and relax . We had a very pleasant chill weekend.

Amazing Lake LBJ rental! It had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake by boat, kayaks were so much fun, fishing pier, etc. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family had a fantastic stay over the Labor Day weekend! The house was exactly as pictured/described and even more! We overpacked because the house is so fully stocked with everything you need from the kitchen to the bathroom. What really stood out was the addition of all the entertainment options- from the kayaks/paddleboards/floats and indoor game table/games/putting green and ping pong table. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 6 plus our fur baby. Ed was an excellent host- communication was quick and he even recommended restaurants and shopping locations around the area. The neighborhood is great and the neighbors were friendly. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this home!

Ed was such a wonderful host. Communicative, thoughtful, and prompt in all of his messaging. The home is stunning, comfortable, clean, and fully equipped for your stay. My guests raved about the house, and made for a perfect getaway on the lake. Would 10/10 recommend, and would stay again. Thank you, Ed!

This olace was even better than we expected. Great outdoor space with places to play games, eat, even park in the shade. The location in the quiet cove was peaceful, and we enjoyed the kayaks, and swimming on the dock. We brought our 2 small dogs with us and the house even includes steps for the dogs. Kitchen was better equipped than most and didn't just have a bunch of the cheapest quality kitchen tools. Highly reccomed!

We had an amazing stay at this lake house! The decor was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The amenities were outstanding, truly everything you could think of and more was provided, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.The host was exceptional as well. They were incredibly informative, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process, ensuring we had everything we needed and answering any questions quickly. It’s clear they put a lot of care into both the property and their guests’ experience.We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped lake getaway!

Beautiful house!

Couldn’t have had a better stay. Everything was so beautiful and comfortable. There are games downstairs that we loved having. Made it feel like a true vacation. A back porch that looks out at the canal and a fire pit. What more could you want? Can’t wait to stay there again. Very gracious host!

Amazing getaway on the lake.

We had a great time at Better Lake Than Never. We loved lounging around the big sectional watching movies, playing ping pong and darts outside, and fishing from the pier in the neighborhood. When we weren’t at the house, we spent lots of time at Inks Lake and Longhorn Cavern state parks, which are just minutes away. Ed was such a great host - the house has all the amenities you could ask for. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet getaway on the lake in central Texas!

Gorgeous Lake House Perfect for Families

Our family loved our multi-generational stay at “Better Lake Than Never!” Everyone from seniors down to our 7yo felt right at home and enjoyed the bright & spacious home plus the fun outdoor space. The house was clean and decorated beautifully with comfortable furnishings. Having the kitchen/dining/living rooms for family time together was a blessing. The outdoor games (darts, Connect 4, corn hole) & kayaks (with life jackets) elevated the experience. The owner was very responsive and helpful anytime we reached out with questions or concerns. We definitely recommend this location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tip Top

Ed has a sweet spot on a canal right off of Lake LBJ. It was perfect for our family. The house is very nice and clean. He has paddleboards, kayaks and dock to fish and swim from. The neighborhood is nice and safe. It sits just outside of Kingsland, TX and about a 9 minute drive to the HEB and restaurants in town. We really like the open concept of the home and the big deck that overlooks the water. Rest assured, this is a tip top property.

We absolutely loved our stay here - I cannot recommend it enough! The property was VERY clean and comfortable - the wall of windows is so beautiful. The main reasons I chose this property were all the "extras" (all the activities available) & the ability to bring our pups. We paddled on the kayaks and paddle board, played cornhole, ping pong, darts & "big" Connect 4 on the lower level, plus more games upstairs. The little outside pen for pups is so handy! The host was incredibly responsive before and during our stay, most always hearing back within just a few minutes. I could not have asked for a better property to enjoy our family getaway! Thank you so much!

Absolutely wonderful!!

We came here with my family for a weekend getaway. The property literally has everything you need. Plenty of towels, blankets, games, etc. Being close to the water and kayaks were a great bonus! It is beautifully decorated. Beds/pillows/sofa all were super comfy. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room. Wi-Fi was fast which I appreciated since I had to work. Ed was the perfect host communicating before check in with procedures. We had a thunderstorm come through and he made sure to check on us. Much appreciated and will def be back!

Hill Country Riverside Home

Our experoence here was fantastic! Would highly recommend if you have kids. The home layout was perfect for the kids to go to the bottom outdoor level to play games, and to take the noise out of the house. Ed, the owner, was super communicative and great to have your back when any storms came in. Access to kayaks to go from their inlet, to the river, and to the lake were easy to use. The home is well furnished and well stocked. Information is readily availabke from their Welcome Binder. We found it easy to get out of their riverside neoghborhood to stores, restaurarants, boat rental locations, caves, etc.If you're looking for a quiet place tucked away in the Hill Country, then this is it!

This was a wonderful location for extended family to come together, including grandparents, teens, and preteens. The outdoor space was excellent to keep everyone happy and busy, and indoor amenities were abundant. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were clean and comfortable, and the lounge space allowed for everyone to gather for a movie. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a lakeside week d getaway.

This house was perfect for our family. There were 2 rooms with king size beds and one room with bunk beds. The well equipped kitchen, eating, and living area were spacious and beautifully decorated. Our kids enjoyed the game table in the living room and there were plenty of board games to keep them busy as well. They also enjoyed the fishing pier and were delighted to catch several fish. Ed was quick to respond to my questions and added a personal touch when I told him we were celebrating my birthday. I highly recommend this to friends and family. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect house! Everything was so clean and cute. The owner thought of EVERYTHING! Lots of fun on the large patio including : darts, TV, corn hole, ping pong & comfy seating. Upstairs has the most comfy couch in the world! My family enjoyed stretching out on it and we battled for the corner seat! HeB was about 6 minute drive in town and the cutest little coffee shop The Lazy Heron . Host was easy to contact
