Such a beautiful place! Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were so nice! The kitchen was great and the bed was very comfortable! I would definitely recommend and stay again! Also, the host was very friendly and responsive!

Wonderful stay.The 1920’s Farm was a great stay. Well, thought out concerning necessities, such as plenty of towels, coffee, etc. The Spa was supper and the gas fire pit bade the evening, perfect. Highly recommend this stay.

Property was great, extremely clean and well maintained. Host was awesome with communication. Fire pit and hot tub were both excellent. Location is very easy to get to from interstate 77. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at this house - we especially loved the porch and hot tub! The house was a cool mix of modern with historic farm house. Communication with the host was great as well. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this 1920s house/cabin. Beautifully updated to keep its rustic 1920s look. The hot tub was a bonus, and marketplace/dining was right up the road.. Would definitely recommend!

We did not get in the hot tub, it was right out in the open with a road right behind it. Not private at all. The house was nice and the beds were comfy.

The photos do show its placement on the patio just off the back deck, and after a year of hosting at The Oaks, this is the first time we’ve heard this particular feedback. Most guests who use it really love the open-air feel, especially in the evenings when it feels much more private. The house was very nicely decorated with everything you could have asked for. The beds were very comfortable. The host responded to our texts very quickly. Wonderful visit. Wonderful view of colorful leaves.

It was cute and comfortable. The hot tub and back deck were fantastic for relaxing. The host clearly pays attention to details as everything was stylish and purposeful. Off the beaten path enough for privacy, but not so remote you're stuck with nothing to do.

Relaxing getaway

Looked just like the pictures. The deck was beautiful to sit on with a great view. We spent a lot of time there. Property was very pretty. Wish it had a hammock or porch swing.

We knew we were staying in a farmhouse, but we didn’t realize it was tucked into the countryside of the largest Amish community. It was amazing to see all of the surrounding farms, quaint shops, and hear the clip-clop of horses on the roads. The farmhouse itself was cozy and inviting. We especially enjoyed the porch with the lights and fire pit. Most of our evenings were spent out there enjoying the beautiful view. The beds and couches were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the utensils and cookware that we needed to be able to cook meals. The grill on the porch was put to good use. The host was easy to reach when we had a couple of questions. I definitely recommend staying at this cozy and beautiful location. We would love to visit again!

What a charming little farmhouse! It was very clean and the kitchen was pretty awesome with top end appliances and dinnerware. Not to mention the complimentary coffee and treats. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit were a big bonus! The one thing that was a little surprising that I did not read in anyone's previous reviews before booking, was how steep the stairs were going up to the bedrooms. Being an old farmhouse I probably should have realized that. That is the only negative thing I could say about this rental. I'm thinking maybe all the previous renters were younger and given that my husband and I are both in our 70s that was a big negative for us especially with having to get up in the middle of the night and go downstairs to the bathroom.

Regarding the stairs: they are original to the old farmhouse and do have a slightly steeper pitch than modern construction, which we understand can feel surprising. They are structurally sound and have a sturdy handrail installed the full length of the staircase for safety and support. There is also a light switch at the top and bottom of the stairs to ensure you can see where you are walking at night. A charming and restful stay at The Oaks

We absolutely loved our time at The Oaks! This beautifully restored 1920s farmhouse in Dundee, Ohio was everything we hoped for and more. It was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. The space was incredibly inviting—both comfortable and full of character.One of the highlights of our stay was the magical firefly display each evening. Sitting out on the deck or soaking in the hot tub while watching the fireflies dance across the yard was unforgettable. The deck itself was a perfect place to relax, dine, and take in the peaceful surroundings.Every detail of the home made it feel like a special retreat. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Amish Country

A cozy and comfortable place to stay. The outside deck was by far my favorite of this hidden little gem. Enjoyed the fire pit, coffee and a good book while it was raining. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Conveniently located between all the little towns but tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting. Enjoyed driving all the back roads to get to places we wanted to go. The complimentary coffee and snacks were a nice touch. Would stay here again!
