We’re truly sorry for the experience you and your guests had, especially with the ongoing AC issues and the uncomfortable temperatures throughout your stay. We understand how frustrating and disappointing that must have been, particularly when you had traveled from different parts of the Southeast to spend time together. We’re also very sorry for the delays in getting the AC issues addressed and for the time you had to spend dealing with the problem. Having to rely on portable AC units and wait for them to arrive was certainly not the comfortable stay you should have experienced. We’re equally sorry to hear about the concerns with the cleanliness and the pests you encountered. Seeing dead roaches, live insects, and spiders inside the home is understandably upsetting, and we recognize how this would have added to an already frustrating experience. We did provide compensation for the issues you encountered during your stay. While we know that compensation does not undo what you experienced or give you back the time and comfort you expected from your vacation, we hope it showed that we recognized the seriousness of the situation and genuinely wanted to make things right. This is not the experience we want for our guests, and we’re truly sorry that we fell short during your stay. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention, as your feedback gives us an opportunity to review what happened and work toward improving the home and our guest experience.
