Celebrate the spirit of Americana and lakeside living at "Red, White, & View," a charming 3-bedroom + loft, 3-bathroom vacation home nestled in the heart of Beachwalk Resort on beautiful Lake Kai, just a 5-minute walk from the famed sands of Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan. This patriotic retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, style, and fun for families and friends.

Relax and unwind in the living area, decorated with classic Americana touches. The smart TV allows you to stream your favorite services for movie night with the family. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals, and the dining area offers plenty of space for everyone to gather. Enjoy the lake breeze on the enclosed porch, the private deck on Lake Kai directly off the porch, or the second-story deck overlooking the water – perfect spots for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

"Red, White, & View" comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests:

Bedrooms: Three well-appointed bedrooms provide restful nights for adults.
1. Queen bed with en-suite jetted tub & shower.
2. Queen bed with en-suite bathroom with shower.
3. Double bed and twin bed connected to a bathroom with a walk-in shower (note this bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway).

Loft: A fun, lofted area designed with our youngest guests in mind boasts three cozy beds - one twin bed, one queen, and one double, creating their own special getaway within the home. Please be mindful that the door to the second story deck is off of this sleeping area.
This loft also offers a full bathroom, seating area, and smart TV.

This home welcomes up to two dogs at a maximum of 30 pounds each. An additional refundable security deposit of $250 is required for all pets. Dogs must be leashed within the resort.

Beyond the comfort of your vacation home, enjoy access to a wealth of seasonal Beachwalk Resort amenities, including:

A 4ft heated pool and toddler pool for refreshing dips.
Active fun with a basketball court, tennis court, bocce ball court, and shuffleboard.
Family-friendly spaces like the Sandcastle playground and putting green.
On-the-water adventures with paddle boarding, paddle boats, and kayaking.
Catch and release fishing off the Lake Kai pier

Please note: Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up from mid-May through September. This home offers parking for three cars. Additional cars may be parked in the nearby overflow lot.

We absolutely love visiting Beachwalk. This is our third year and this house was amazing. Right on Lake Kai so we did all kinds of water activities. The Beach was all our favorites!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a fantastic time as usual. Our family has rented homes in Beachwalk for many years and would like to continue that tradition. We loved being able to rent a pet-friendly home on Lake Kai at a time that fit our schedule. We understand that renting at the end of July/early August will result in some wear and tear on the house, but this one seemed to be particularly damaged/dirty. The porch door did not close all of the way unless forcefully pulled, and our dog escaped. The door near the grill and public path did not lock at all. The room in the front with the full bath/shower is dangerous because someone could easily fall getting in or out. Some wood panels on the deck were loose. The screened-in porch floor was in very bad shape. The microwave, dishwasher, and air conditioner did not work very well. I would like to say, however, that none of these issues impacted the enjoyment of our vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here summer 2026 and the house is lovely, and the location on Lake Kai cannot be beat. As vacation rental homes go, this one is pretty standard. Its not AS pretty as the pictures but they never are. Overall, we all really liked the house. A few items that I disliked, that I think could be addressed with relative ease and reasonable cost. There is no pantry space at all so if you brought a weeks work of groceries they just need to take up one of the 2 four seater tables. I would suggest emptying out that locked red cabinet in the kitchen or relocating that elsewhere and providing something else for people to store food that isn't refrigerated. The public spaces have zero curtains/blinds/privacy. This was the worst thing about the rental. The sun was like a laser beam at certain times of day, which affected temperature and our ability to see. If you have a dog who barks anytime they see a person, bird, leaf etc then you will not get any break in this house without putting the dog in a bedroom. You're also on full display when it gets dark and you turn on the light. I know there was probably no danger, but it makes me feel uneasy/unsafe. The fire place did not work, which was disappointing. We didn't bother calling for service because it was late and we didn't feel like dealing with that kind of thing on vacation. A fuse blew anytime we tried to use the dryer and the upstairs air conditioner at the same time. Rentals are never perfect so as they go, I would stay here again but it would be super if the above items were addressed, because then it really would be pretty darn great.

The pool, all the amenities & quick walk to Sheridan Beach make for an easy trip with all of our kids and grandkids. While this house offered enough beds for everyone, it was lacking in seating both in the kitchen and family room. We would not rent this house again for that reason but will definitely be back to Beachwalk!

The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cookware and we made good use of it, eating on the deck and enjoying the view most days! Our kids loved riding the scooter up and down the boardwalk and skipping rocks was their favorite thing! A short walk to the beach at the "big lake" was easy and not too hard for the kids. We came in October, so most of the ammenities were not open, but we loved just strolling down the walk way. Our kids loved the playground too - very fun and an easy walk. Beds were comfortable and the whole place felt clean and accessible. There were lots of games and puzzles provided. We had one issue with the TV not working, but the maintenance person came quickly to fix it and was very helpful and polite.
