We're so happy to hear you had an enjoyable stay at Bear Hill Cabin and thank you for your review! The homeowner would like to apologize for the ethernet outage in the local area which might have affected the home's WiFi during your stay. We have checked with the local cable and ethernet service provider and everything is back in working order. The homeowners have also updated the contact information so they can respond faster to guest communication. We hope you'll keep Evolve in mind for your future vacation rental needs! Justin, the homeowner would like to share the following message: "Thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to talk to you and your wife concerning your stay. I was happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay overall. We take all complaints very seriously and we want to assure you that we have procedures and high standards in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests. Because of the high standards we set for ourselves, we are truly sorry to hear about your concern with the potential bed bugs. We immediately had our property inspected by a professional exterminator. The exterminator informed us that he was not able to find any evidence of infestation or live bed bugs in the home. We still chose to have the calendar blocked and had the property professionally treated to ensure that the home is free of any pests. We hope that the prompt response to you and your wife and the measures taken help make up for the inconvenience you experienced. We appreciate and want to thank you once again for the opportunity to address this issue." Best, the Evolve Team

Thank you for the feedback. We're sorry the hot tub wasn't ready when you arrived; our service provider misread the schedule, and once we heard from you, they went out right away to get it cleaned. We also looked into the grill as soon as you mentioned a leak and tried to get a repair scheduled, offering to cover the parts in the meantime, and a follow-up check after checkout found no leak present. As for the toilet, we contacted a plumber and it has been fixed. We appreciate you letting us know because we take these details seriously as we work to keep the home in great shape for future guests.

Hi Kimberly, we're glad you enjoyed your visit here overall but sorry to hear that you felt the bathrooms were not clean. We have shared your feedback with the homeowner, who assured us that she will address this with her housekeeper. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Kathy, while we appreciate and welcome constructive feedback, we don't believe this rating is warranted. The Bear Hill Cabin has a check-in time of after 4 p.m., and your party arrived at 3 p.m. Because of this, the cleaners were put under a time crunch so that they could promptly allow you access to the property. The cleaners were also able to confirm that the sheets were clean, and replaced on all the beds. The towels were all washed, and dried, and a second load was put in the dryer to ensure you would have extra towels for your stay. The cabin is also exactly as pictured online so that travelers can make their own decisions regarding whether this is the right home for them before booking. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, this owner is accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and we feel confident future travelers will have exceptional stays. Best, the Evolve Team

Jeremy, the homeowner would like to share this following message with you: "Jeremy, we apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience. We want to reassure you, that as soon as we were informed, we took immediate action to address the possible issue.   We blocked the rental of the house immediately, so a certified, licensed-professional pest control company that specializes in dealing with bed bugs could come inspect the property.  We promptly sent you an email thanking you for providing us with this important information and issued you a partial refund.  We never received a response from you acknowledging the email or refund.   After a thorough inspection by the licensed professional, we were informed and given a report stating that there was “NO”  bed bugs or traces of bed bugs present.   We want to assure all our guest that we always value the information they provide and will take every precaution needed to help our guest have a wonderful and joyful stay. " Best, the Evolve Team "We apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience.
