Historic and spacious three bedroom charmer with a fenced in back yard that even allows pets.

This charming house is in a quiet neighborhood with its own fenced in yard that has all the amenities you require. Offers an eat-in kitchen with new stove and fridge, a formal dining room and a plush living room with new and comfortable furniture. There are two full bathrooms, one on the ground floor just off the living room with a standup shower, and one upstairs near all three bedrooms with a shower and a soaking tub.

The house is close to everything and less than a 10 minute drive to the NBA Hall of Fame, MGM Casino and Hotel, The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss, the Titanic Historic Society, Springfield Armory Historic Site and MassMutual Center. It's also walking distance to historic Forest Park and Franklin Park Zoo, as well as many restaurants, grocery stores and shops. It's also less than a 15 minute ride to to Six Flags, The Eastern State Exposition (The Big E), Bay State Hospital and numerous colleges and universities.

Unlike many other short-term rentals in area this is a FULL-HOUSE (not an apartment) with its own fenced in back yard with outdoor seating and off-street parking (in driveway) for multiple cars.

All three of the main bedrooms are on the second floor accessible by a wide and easy turn staircase. The primary bedroom features a king bed with smart TV, bedroom two has a queen bed and smart TV, and the third bedroom features a trundle-style day bed with two separate twin beds. The second floor also features a full bathroom with oversized soaking tub just a few steps from all three bedrooms.

There is also a fourth 'bonus' room on the ground floor with a queen-sized futon that can be used as either a playroom, in office space, extra sleeping area or whatever.

The formal dining room has table and chairs for six people and the living room has a comfy pull-out sofa (queen) that sleeps two. There is also a three-season room in front of house facing the scenic tree-lined road.

This house has both historic charm and modern amenities and is the perfect place for either a quick visit or a long term stay. There is lots of room for everyone in your group and all their gear and we will provide everything from clean sheets to a coffee machine to multiple smart TVs with Wifi for all your devices.

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable home. Loved that it was cozy and on a quiet street. Close to restaurants and stores. Communication was very good with the owners. Having the fenced yard for our pup was great she enjoyed being able to run about. Loved the king size bed and the AC was perfect for those hot days. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable home for my family. Easy access to sights in Springfield. Lots of space to hang out, appreciated all of the extra towels and blankets. Kitchen could use some newer cookware- if you are looking to cook meals. Otherwise great!

Samantha and James were great hosts, on top of all communication with answers to any questions. It was a spacious house, in a great neighborhood, surrounded by terrific restaurants. Just a few tweaks would make it a 5 star stay.

Thank you so much for your review and for the kind words about our communication and the neighborhood — we’re so glad Larry and the rest of the group enjoyed their stay. We always appreciate feedback and take it seriously, though we’d like to clarify a few details. Camille booked the reservation but did not stay in the home herself. She I relaying this review on behalf of her husband and his guests. Some of the “tweaks” mentioned privately — such as adding window treatments and updating sheets — to be clear all windows are already equipped with pull-down blinds, and the rental was equipped with all brand new sheets before this guest arrival. We also provided other new sets of sheets stored in the closets which the group also opened and used during their visit. There also seemed to be some confusion about operating our new mini-split heating and cooling system. Clear instructions for using the system are included in our detailed welcome packet in the home, which we always encourage guests to review for a smooth and comfortable stay. We truly do our best to provide a great experience for every guest, though we understand that sometimes it’s impossible to meet everyone’s individual preferences. We feel these above points don’t quite reflect an 8 out of 10 experience. That said, we’re always open to constructive feedback and appreciate the opportunity to keep improving. We’re glad the group had an overall positive stay.

We now have over seven years experience renting out on Airbnb, with one rental on Martha’s Vineyard, and now a new one in Springfield, Massachusetts. We like to think we are accessible, communicative, and responsive hosts who try to anticipate our customers needs before they even check in.

Generally speaking, Springfield is not considered a “walking” town, but this particular neighborhood is within walking distance to several high-quality restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Also, this is the perfect location for groups that will be doing multiple activities in the Springfield area and is less than a 10 minute drive from the NBA Hall of Fame, the MGM Casino and Hotel the Dr. Seuss museum, the Springfield Armory historic site, and the MassMutual Center.

Were also about a 15 minute ride from Six Flags
New England and the Big E and we’re only about a 20 minute ride from several beautiful towns in the charming Berkshire mountain like Northampton and Amherst.

We also centrally located to countless colleges, universities, and hospitals. We’re also only about 15 minutes from Bradley international airport and only about 90 minutes from Boston.

The main thing that makes this property truly unique is that it is a single-family full house.

Many other rentals in this area market
themselves as full “homes” but in fact are really apartments. This is a full house with a fenced in backyard, and off-street parking in a driveway.

We are pet friendly, and the fenced-in backyard is perfect for spending time with your four-legged friends. There’s also an outdoor seating area with patio furniture and a grill.

The house has a lot of historic charm, but also all the modern amenities you would expect. There Is a full kitchen with updated stove, sink and fridge. There’s also a formal dining room with table and chairs for six people.

There is Wi-Fi throughout the house with a smart TV in the living room, and two smart TVs in two of the bedrooms upstairs.

This house is unique blend of historic charm and modern updates with plenty of room for everybody.
