The Space:

Welcome to Smokey’s Place, a peaceful riverside retreat tucked directly along the beautiful Toccoa River. With inviting indoor spaces, incredible outdoor living, and the sounds of the river just steps away, this cabin is designed for families and friends looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the best of the North Georgia mountains.



Step inside to a warm and welcoming living area where comfortable furnishings and a cozy fireplace create the perfect place to gather after a day of exploring. Large windows bring the surrounding nature indoors, while the open layout makes it easy for everyone to spend time together.



The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, with plenty of space to gather around the table for breakfast before an adventure or dinner after a day on the river.



One of the highlights of Smokey’s Place is its sleeping setup. All three private bedrooms now feature KING beds and TVs, making this an especially comfortable choice for couples, families, or groups traveling together. The loft offers additional sleeping space with a bunk bed, giving younger guests their own cozy spot.



Outside is where Smokey’s Place truly shines.



Step onto the deck and take in the sights and sounds of the Toccoa River flowing right past the property. Start your morning with coffee by the water, spend the afternoon fishing, or simply settle in and watch the river go by.



After a day of mountain adventures, soak in the private hot tub while listening to the water, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace, or gather together for a relaxing evening beneath the trees.



And for a little extra Blue Ridge magic, you may even catch the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway passing by the property during your stay.

Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire cabin and its outdoor spaces during their stay, including the hot tub, decks, outdoor fireplace, and riverfront areas.



Any locked owner’s closets or storage areas are reserved for owner use and are not accessible to guests.



Parking is available on-site for registered guests.

Smokey’s Place is tucked along the beautiful Toccoa River in the North Georgia mountains, offering a peaceful riverside setting surrounded by nature. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the river right from the property, with opportunities to fish, relax by the water, or simply unwind and take in the scenery.



Conveniently located between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, the cabin makes it easy to explore two of North Georgia’s favorite mountain towns. Spend the day enjoying the shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries, and Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in Downtown Blue Ridge, or head toward McCaysville and neighboring Copperhill, Tennessee, for riverside dining, local shops, and a stroll across the Georgia–Tennessee state line.



The surrounding area also offers hiking, waterfalls, Lake Blue Ridge, tubing, rafting, wineries, orchards, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure.



You may even catch the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway passing nearby—a fun part of the unique Toccoa River experience.



Getting Around:

Guests should plan to have their own vehicle during their stay. Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are very limited in the North Georgia mountains and should not be relied upon for transportation.



The cabin is accessible by standard 2WD vehicles under normal conditions. The driveway is gravel, so please drive slowly and use caution when entering and exiting the property.



As with all mountain travel, road conditions can change during inclement weather. Please use extra caution when driving after dark or during periods of heavy rain, snow, or ice. AWD or 4WD may be recommended during winter weather.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:



• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must be present for the duration of the reservation.



• A signed rental agreement is required after booking.



• Smokey’s Place is pet-friendly! Please include your pets in your reservation and review the applicable pet fee and pet policies prior to arrival.



• No smoking, vaping, parties, or events are permitted.
