Wow! This is actually the best beach house on Surfside’s block! So much open space inside and out that went beyond our expectations. We’re thinking this will be our go to house whenever we’re in town. So if they’ll let us, same time same place next summer!

The host was responsive to all of our questions in a timely manner. The house itself was excellent. It was nice and cool. A lot of kitchen amenities to use and in good condition. The walkway behind the house to access the beach is convenient. Only complaint was a couple of the beds were too soft and lumpy to our liking. Overall, the stay was good and I would recommend.

Amazing beach front, vintage house!

We LOVED staying at this property, the house is so cool and vintage. The location is perfect, beachfront with excellent access. This house sleeps many people, and tons of extra bedding, and mattresses.

Great space and a wonderful location

We rented this house to celebrate my Grand daughter’s birthday on the beach. It was a perfect spot with a short walk to the sand and water. The house was very well stocked and very comfortable for our group of 13. Not to mention the beautiful views it has to offer!

Family and Beach Time…

Our stay is amazing, our family had a great time. The kids had so much fun at the beach the whole time. We just had some issues with big mosquito bites.

This was a beautiful beach house. Access to the beach was super easy. My family loved the vibes and decor of the house, made it feel like a real vacation and not just staying in someone’s home. We happened to be there for a kite festival, wasn’t planned, just happenstance. Sitting on the back balcony and watching the kites take flight and then the night flight was amazing. Communications with homeowner were always quickly responded to. Plenty of essentials for cooking are provided and there were manuals for the microwave, oven and stove. We had two sets of family come if for different parts of the week and there was plenty of fridge space with one being in the kitchen and one in the hall. Plenty of towels for our group and more than enough TVs to keep the kids entertained as needed. Four sitting areas let everyone spread out as needed and ceiling fans and provided portable fans made sure everyone was at the right temperature. The beach was only “busy” on Saturday and a lot of that was kite festival traffic, the rest of the days had some traffic but nothing like other beaches in the area. We didn’t get a beach permit for our car because we could easily transport everything with a wagon.We would definitely come back to this house, it was perfect and not too close to the busy area of Surfside but also not too far out for groceries or Walmart needs.

Much Needed Reset

Family vacation for the fourth....much needed reset and this was perfect. View from patio deck was mesmerizing and was what everyone needed!!!

We came a week after a herixabe. Not everything wasfully functioning but the host was all over it. Everything but internet was restored for our stay

The host was super responsive when the oven went out on us. Provided same day on-the-counter air fryer and oven was replaced within 2 days of discovering it was broken. The proximity to the beach was A which allowed various members of our group to freely come and go between the house and the beach. It is a public beach with vehicular traffic. We claimed our spot early and had no issues. The back porch view with its cutouts was fantastic. I just wish the outdoor furniture was a little more comfortable. The pieces were starting to reach the end of their lifespan. The house is just a tad more weathered than the pictures indicate. The handle on the front door was not fully attached, loose tile pieces in the primary bathroom, missing nails in walls so pictures and bath towel holders wouldn’t stay up on wall, and we discovered some ants in the bunk room on our last night. Also the bunk room is very warm probably due to restricted air circulation because of design. The fans provided made it ok. You are asked not to lower air below 72 so the compress doesn’t freeze up which was comfortable for all of the rooms except the bunk room. There is no enclosed outdoor shower. There is a hose with a shower head but you can’t fully get de-sanded from the beach before heading into the house. Overall the house is fine and serves its intended purpose. Maintaining properties on the coast is hard and it could just use a little TLC.

Loved our Family Reunion at the Beach!

The property was perfect for our first family vacation getaway. We had 8 adults and 7 children from ages 1 to 17 years old. Everyone especially loved the open concept kitchen and common living space. We had enough room for privacy and for family group time. The beachside windows and large deck were perfect for enjoying the beach views and of course the beach itself was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Responsive and Accommodating

We love the space and how open the living room was. Such a beautiful view of the beach. The owner was very responsive to us. We even accidentally took the keys to the probably back home, and she was gracious with us as we mailed it back to her.

Great location!!! Very cool house!

The house is right off Bluewater close to convenience stores. Private walk-over. Cute decore. Very firm beds. Lots of sitting spaces/sofa groupings. Great washer/dryer and extra frig. Extra fans and blankets. Great TVs and streaming services for the quiet times not on the water. Water hose on balcony and on ground level. Charcoal grill was great. Overall this is a very nice home and my family enjoyed it! Thank you for a great home!! (Bring more paper good and bring all needed spices/coffee etc.)

Beach Bliss with a Minor Quirk!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beach house and had a truly memorable vacation! From the moment we arrived, the check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free. The house boasts absolutely breathtaking views of the beach – waking up to that panorama every morning was simply divine! And the easy access to the sand and surf was a huge plus, making beach days a breeze.The property manager deserves special mention. They were incredibly prompt and responsive to any questions we had, which really added to the overall positive experience. We had a wonderful time, and the house itself provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.The only slight drawback, and it's a minor one, is the foot traffic under the house. Guests from the houses across the street regularly use the walkway that passes directly underneath the property to access the beach. This means that if you have any beach gear, bikes, or other belongings stored in the downstairs area, they are potentially visible to passersby. It's not a huge issue, but something to be aware of.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this beach house again. The stunning views, easy beach access, and responsive property manager far outweigh the minor inconvenience of the walkway. We're already dreaming of our next trip back!

Not so nice

The house was perfectly adequate. It is old and needs attention. But the sheets were clean and the showers and toilets were clean. The house looks clean at first sight, but pull out the sofa bed and you’ll find trash and dead bugs on the floor. The pots and pans are nasty and unusable. The drawers for utensils are beyond nasty. AND IF YOU HAVE TODDLERS, remove the BUTCHER KNIVES from the bottom pull out drawer next to the dishwasher. TVs don’t work, remotes have no batteries, and there’s not a side table one on the outdoor patio. You’ll have to sit your phone and drink on the floor. But you won’t spend much time out there anyway because the cushions are paper thin and molded and the view is looking through cut out holes in the wall. Pay attention to that in the pictures. It looks nice but it obstructs your view of the beach. But the worst part is the insulting message you’ll get from the property manager the day before arrival. There is extra fees for: excess sand on floors, dirty fridge and microwave (which were dirty to start with), and a staging fee if you move anything. She suggests you take pics upon arrival so you can put it all back. You cannot use any of the closets or dresser drawers. They’re all full of mattresses (that fall on you when you open the closet door) and crap. There’s a ladder up against the wall. Brooms are easy to find: they’re leaning on the corner by the front door! I would look elsewhere.

Perfect place for a Family Reunion. The open concept living & kitchen area has multiple spaces to allow everyone to be together listening to music, doing puzzles, playing video & board games, cooking. Beautiful views from the covered deck that runs full length of the house. We had a wonderful time!

This was our second time staying at this beach house, and we loved every moment of it. We will definitely be back! The location is hard to beat—it’s just steps from the beach and only a short drive into town for groceries, restaurants, or any supplies you might need.The property management team was outstanding. We noticed some ants in one of the rooms, which wasn’t surprising considering it had rained heavily the week before and there were extra bugs in the area. I sent a text, and within five minutes they responded and had someone at the house to take care of the issue immediately. That level of communication and customer service was truly impressive.The only downside we experienced was that the homes across the street use the private beach walkway that passes underneath the house. Because of that, families regularly walked by while we were grilling, relaxing, or unloading our vehicle, which took away a little from the privacy.Aside from that minor issue, this is an excellent beach house that we highly recommend. The location, the home itself, and the exceptional management make it an easy choice for us, and we look forward to staying here again.

Super nice home and great set up. Spent a lot of time at the beach and it was great to be able to come back and grab more everything since the house was close. The house was awesome and super cool on how it was set up. The room for kids is amazing bunks and ladders and just cool! The main rooms were super nice and we had a great time. Watched fireworks and lightening shows off the balcony really wonderful time. Definitely rent this place again!

We enjoy the stay, the house was just as described with a beautiful view. The host was very responsive. We caught a bit of bad weather and lost power for a few hours and Arlene kept us informed with ETA on power restoration.

Great at first, horrible ending.

We booked this house Fri-Sun for a small intimate wedding, only family was in attendance. We messaged the host prior to booking our rental and stated that the property was going to be used for a wedding. Everything went through, we booked the home, we even paid them an extra $100 to bring our dog. The day of checking in they let us know the property was under maintenance (should not have been rented out for a wedding), but they stated the equipment was put away and everything was fine for use. When we arrived the home was not fully cleaned. There was debris on the floor, the toilet water was yellow, there was construction equipment out amongst other things. We decided not to let it bring us down since the next day would be our special day. The day of the wedding we tried to use the oven and when pulling the handle to open it, it literally fell out of the cabinet. We messaged the owner to let them know something had to be wrong prior, but they stated everything was fine with it previously. It had nothing holding it into the cabinet in order for it to stay up, it had just been placed inside it, but we just left it at that. A few days after renting the property we were told that we would be charged $400 for having an event without giving the owner prior knowledge. As I stated in the beginning our first message of correspondence was to let them know it was for a wedding. When speaking with the property owner they stated that we set up tables the day before the event (we had tables and chairs delivered Friday to be ready to set up Saturday, we rented the property starting Friday), that we rented the house next door (we did not know the people next door they helped out with setting up just to be nice), and that we did not pay the event fee. We ended up not having to pay the $400 because we had enough evidence but renters beware!

Family Reunion

This property is great for a large group. There is plenty of room to spread out or space to convene the entire group. A really nice spot for a reunion/meeting/wedding or weekend getaway. Well worth the money!
