When we first fell in love with this place, it was that same feeling you described, the sense that you could slow down, take a deep breath, listen to the loons calling across the water, and simply be present. There is something about White Lake that is difficult to put into words. It has a peacefulness and a magic that you can feel the moment you arrive. We also loved your comparison to a favorite fishing spot that you almost don’t want to share. 😊 We completely understand! Little Evergreen Cottage feels like one of those rare places that has somehow managed to hold onto the past while giving you the opportunity to enjoy the present. We feel incredibly fortunate to now be its caretakers and to continue the legacy of the families who loved this camp before us.
