**Location: The Village Inn is situated in the heart of the quaint village of Lakewood, NY. Visitors will enjoy the tranquil charm of an historic lakeside community. Beautiful Chautauqua Lake is steps from The Village Inn. You will be surrounded by a beautiful shoreline, incredible sunsets, large well-established trees, and many turn of the century Victorian era homes. Lakewood offers a public beach, a community park, a community dock, a farmers market, state of the art playground facilities, well-lit lakeside tennis courts, a library, live music in the summer, a fall festival, and charming winter holiday events. It is no wonder that simply taking a walk through the village is a favorite pastime. The property offers a back yard, a covered porch, and is conveniently located within steps of Chautauqua Lake. Within 30-40 minutes, you will find world class ski resorts, snowmobile trails, boating, kayaking, hiking, casinos, Lake Erie, and wineries. While there isn't a dock on site, boat ramps and parking are within minutes of our facility. There is also a community dock within a 2 minute walk. Do you want to bring a boat or jet skis? Contact the host to arrange for parking. We run a boating business and can point you in the right direction! We also have kayaks available for an additional fee. Chautauqua Institution is a short drive: be sure to check the calendar for summer concerts and lectures!

A morning on the front porch surrounded by large oak trees, vintage quilts, and a cup of coffee is the best way to start any day. You will have access to our rear patio with seating for outdoor dining and a barbecue area. Spend your evening around the secluded fire area under the starlit sky. The Shabby Shrub is located downstairs and offers many of the items found in our charming space. If you enjoy the amenities, be sure to visit!

**This is a second story property. Guests should be able to climb stairs with ease to access the property. It should also be noted that guests will need to pass through the bathroom to reach the 2nd bedroom. While we love children, our space is not baby/toddler proofed. School aged children will enjoy our space, but infants and toddlers (and parents) may be more comfortable in a more suitable accommodation.
