Du kører ned ad landevejen til en landlig tilbagetog omgivet af røde klipper, kaktus og en vandrende murgård med en "casita". Der er masser af parkeringspladser og en privat indgang til dit gæstehus. Indvendigt indtaster du frisk renoverede boliger med bløde, neutrale farver, der modregner de gamle Vermillion Cliffs i hvert vindue. Betagende.

Vores gæstehus er ikke kun smukt møbleret, men omhyggeligt indrettet med nyt keramisk flisegulv og aircondition / varmesystem. Der er to soveværelser, hver med en luksuriøst indrettet queensize-seng og skabsplads. Det komplette badeværelse har nyt VVS, forfængelighed og bad / bruser. Stuen og spisepladsen har store vinduer, der giver smukt lys og en fuld udsigt over Vermillion Cliffs. Spisesalen omfatter et spisebord med plads til op til 4 gæster. Lige ved stuen er et helt nyt, fuldt møbleret køkken, klar til at forberede et rigtigt sydvestligt måltid. Dette pensionat ligger bekvemt inden for Grand Circle of Zion, Bryce og Grand Canyon National Parker, kun 3 km fra centrum af Kanab. Med sin egen separate indgang er pensionatet tilgrænset til ejernes hovedboliger. Hele hjemmet ligger på 5 private hektar med ekspansiv udsigt over den røde klippe Vermilion Cliffs og byen Kanab. Nyd roen i vores elskede miniranch, hjemsted for vores to miniatyr æsler og hest.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this little casita very much! Very cute, cozy and comfortable. Mike and Jody are lovely people and made sure we knew they were available for anything that we may need. They gave us very good advice as they are very knowledgeable about the area. It really helped us make the most of our time spent there. Highly recommend. Hope to visit again someday!!

What a beautiful place to stay!

The casita was simply wonderful and the surroundings stunning. The donkeys were a huge added bonus. Our last night was made extra special by the meteor shower we witnessed - What a send off!!

Wonderful stay

We couldn’t have been happier with our visit to Kanab. The location was perfectly situated - close to town, Zion, and most importantly, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The hosts were wonderful and we had everything we needed to make it a great trip. We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Great place to be!

We had a great time at Jody´s place. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed staying at the Casita. Kanab is a perfect spot to do all the spots around within a daytrip (Bryce, Zion, North Rim, Lake Powell ....). Thank you Jody for the very pleasant stay!

Peaceful retreat close to town

We really enjoyed our stay - it's in a peaceful, beautiful area, while still close to town. The casita was darling, clean, comfy beds, had everything we needed. The bonus of seeing the cute donkeys was fun. Thank you!

Best Place To Stay In Kanab

This place is fantastic, better than it shows in the pictures. Location is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Host are the nicest people. Would definitely recommend staying here. Five plus stars!

Kanab Beauty!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Kanab. Clean, quiet, well-appointed and a wonderful location for us. Our hosts were welcoming and provided all the brochures and information we needed to experience this beautiful area of Utah. Highly recommend!

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I chose to stay here for our long overdue honeymoon and it was perfect. The casita has so much personality and felt like a little home away from home. The location is perfectly, centrally located to all of the places we wanted to visit and the scenery is spectacular! Jody and Mike were ready with plenty of helpful suggestions and we loved meeting their four-legged family members, especially Maggie and the donkeys😁 We hope to return again!

Awesome Casita!!

Casita was amazing! Quiet, immaculate and very close to local grocery stores and restaurants. The Casita was very well stocked! Host Jody and Mike were very welcoming. This was just what my husband and I needed after visiting the national parks. We highly recommend this Casita and I have to mention the adorable donkeys that were such an added joy!

Great time in Utah

The home is very comfortable and welcoming. Got to meet the owner who was very nice. They are available if you need anything which is great. The home is located in middle of everything we wanted to see. I know if we were to come back to Utah we would stay here sgain.

Perfect house for our group of 10

We loved staying at this home. The house, including the suite, was just the right size for our large family group. The location was convenient to Best Friends, where we volunteered during the day. The kids loved the basketball hoop on the back patio; the Best Friends sleepover dog loved the fenced front yard. The owners were friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Kanab.

I've rented two other houses in Kanab and this one is by far the best. It's clean, roomy and the furniture and appliances are on the newer side. The location is beautiful. You can park in the garage and they allow sleep-over dogs from Best Friends. I will definately be back.

Great house, Great Location

Six hikers rented the entire property, each had their own beds with two people per bath/shower. The two refrigerators allowed us to stock up for the stay in one shopping trip. The owners even greeted us with fresh flowers! This house is huge, comfortable and convenient. If we had known what we know now, we would have booked it for a longer stay. We all want to go back to the area to explore further and would book this house again.

Best friends volunteer

Perfect home in a perfect location for volunteering at Best Friends and visiting the National Parks. Home is clean and spacious, a wonderful homey space to entertain and spend time with family and friends. Capped off the trip with my son adopting a furbaby from BF. We'll definitely be back. Absolutely Fantastic!

The house was much more than we expected! We were 8 people, and it felt spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the whole house was spotless. The surroundings are beautiful, and we had plenty of privacy. We were cooking comfortably in the kitchen, and enjoyed eating outside on the deck. Thank you! We'll be back for more. Yaya G.

Thanksgiving with Family

We rented the whole house to spend Thanksgiving with our grown children and grandchildren. The home is lovely! There is plenty of open living space for family to gather for board games, football on tv, and family dinners. The fenced front yard is a real bonus for a family with little ones who want to play outside. The master bedroom is absolutely perfect, as is the in-law suite. We could put the children to bed in the in-law suite bedrooms and not disturb them while visiting in the main living area. The kitchen space is open which makes cooking together fairly easy and comfortable. We had a very relaxing four day weekend, and our children were sad to leave. The owners are very pleasant and responsive. All-in-all, we will happily return!

Spectacular Home

A group of five women met here to stay while volunteering at Best Friends. Some of us met at Best Friends a couple of years ago and decided to stay in one location together. We are from North Carolina, Wisconsin and Virginia. It was especially wonderful that we were all able to have our own private rooms and there was a total of 3-1/2 bathrooms. The home was in a beautiful location with views all around, VERY nicely furnished and the kitchen was full of a lot of high end appliances and kitchen items. We each fixed a dinner on the week nights and always found what we needed to prepare everything. It was also nice to have a garage to pull our cars into at night. We are hopeful to rent it again next year if everyone can manage to get together again. Well behaved dogs from Best Friends were welcome here for overnight stays and there was a nice fenced in yard with grass for them to run and play in. Very friendly owners who were always available if there were any questions. HIGHLY recommended for a large group and there is even a 10% discount if you are volunteering at Best Friends!

Beautiful home with a great view

This is our 7th year coming to Kanab and our 3rd year staying at his home. We love this rental home! The house is not only beautiful but it is very comfortable, functional and well priced. The living areas are very large so it is comfortable for a larger group. The large covered deck has great views and it's so relaxing to sit out there after a long day. The fenced in front yard is great for those of us that volunteer at Best Friends and bring a dog home for a sleepover. The home is less than 5 minutes from the center of town and the views of the night sky and stars is incredible. The master suite in this house is huge. It is large enough to sleep 2 adults and several children can fit on the floor. The home is very clean and well-kept. It also has a well stocked kitchen so if you choose to cook everything you need is there. The garage is huge and can easily fit 3 cars if you choose to park there. The property owners are also great. There was a problem with the A/C while we were there so we had to contact them. They got right back to us, had a maintenance person come to the house right away and the problem was resolved by the time we got back in the evening. They then ch caked with us the next day to make sure things were still OK. Mike and Jody are wonderful people! I really can't say enough about this house. It's the perfect vacation rental in Kanab!

Perfect in Every Way

My family of 4 and my parents stayed here for a week and loved everything about the house and the area. "Ditto" to the previous review which comments on the many nice touches that the owners of this house provide. We did not use the in law suite but still had plenty of room. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully stocked with useful supplies. A notebook with information about the house and Kanab was helpful as were a variety of books about the national parks in the area. We had worried a bit about the heat in August, but we really enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the beautiful views and fresh air. The area around the house is nicely landscaped with a pretty green lawn in front. It was a particular treat to see an occasional jack rabbit. As others have noted, the owners could not have been nicer throughout the rental process and our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone but suspect it will hard to get as more people discover it. Regarding the area, you can drive in any direction to reach one of the many national parks surrounding Kanab. We were particularly taken aback by the beauty of Zion national park. It's a definite must see if you are in the area. The highlight of our trip, however, was our time spent volunteering at Best Friends. The sanctuary itself is gorgeous, and the tour is fascinating. If at all possible, consider allowing time to volunteer during your stay. It is an enjoyable and extraordinarily rewarding experience. We look forward to returning.

Great place!

We had a great time in Kanab. The casita was perfect. This location was great. We were about 30 minutes from Zion and a little over an hour from antelope slot canyon and Horse Bend in Page Arizona. The hosts were so friendly and the casita was a great home base.
